You get $4K a year while you do it, have to live in a big city, and have to sleep on the streets/shelters.

At the end, you get an after-tax payment of $5 million

hell yeah! Id play it safe and chill at the homeless shelters and not do drugs or alcohol. the free food places give out and $4k a year would be easy for 5 years. a big city would be so easy, so many hipsters giving free chit and also shelters giving free chit.

If you're making a minimum of $70K/Year with your primary source of income you'll pull in $2.5 Millon in 5 years, not including what you turn around in investments and savings, and you didn't have to be homeless for 5 years.

Now if you're giving me $50-100 Million to do that, then we may have a legit negotiation.

Probably not, it sounds like a great idea on the whole, but if I actually thought about it like "for five years I wont have my comfy blankets and my heater and my laptop and my nice food" then I probably couldn't handle it mentally and would forego the $5 million in order to enjoy my poverty creature comforts.

there isn't a chance in hell someone making 70k per year is going t be able to come out with 2.5 mil in 5 years. Assuming as you say you aren't homeless and have bills to pay. Besides why work for 70k per year when I can chill on the streets for 5 years and come out with 5mil.

yeah, the 4k will cover gym, and cell phone, clothes. everything else is free from shelters and homeless services. even some homeless shelters have gyms lol. easy as fuack.

Yes and no. If my final figure for the entire fiscal year is $70k than yes, you're right. however if $70k is only one of my revenue streams, and I have additional revenue streams, lets say 5 additional revenue streams varying from $10k-40k with growth potential from year-to-year, you can see why I scoff at $5 million.

I could easily live off the interest for various investments if I had a 5 million lump sum to begin with. Obviously you still wouldn't be able to blow your money on things you don't need(huge pointless expensive houses/cars etc) but I'd still be set to where I'd never have to work again

yeah. some bros act like if you have millions you HAVE to live into a $3 million house, $100k car, expensive area, vacations every months, ect...thats how you go broke.

tons of people have millions in the bank and you would never know because they live in a $300k house, own a $25k toyota and work a part time job. thats how you do it.

Ok, so if you can wisely manage and invest a lump sum of $5 million for lets say the next 40 years of your life, why can't you see someone wisely managing $120-200k/year of total gross pay with growth potential on a yearly basis, when that is reoccurring income for the next 40 years?
