Warner Bros has already begun developing a reboot of the 1999 iconic film. Source claims will not involve the Wachowskis and Keanu Reeves





I have a mixed opinion tbh, part of me would want to watch it just to see more of the Matrix universe on the big screen, but knowing the current state of Hollywood, this would probably be a disaster and suffer from modern cheesiness.

The first film was good, it doesn't need a reboot. If anything, why not continue the story or work in a prequel of some kind?

come up with some original content. the matrix is one of the greatest movies ever made (thematically and technically). it doesn't need to be rebooted jesus christ. even the sequels aren't that bad they just cop a lot of chit from neckbeards who don't understand wtf is happeniing because they aren't being spoonfed for once.

Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, Red Dawn, Total Recall, Robocop, Arthur, and now The Matrix.

That's just the short list of movies they've ruined. I'm sure there are a hundred more.

Even if Keanu was in it he's no where near the shape he was in for the movies. He's so stiff now. I'm not saying he can't get into shape but it won't be the same as someone who been playing roles like that for years.
