Happens more often than people realize, but the media far more interested than what some kardashian is doing. One of various reasons the vast majority of police are not in favor of gun control (also ignored by the media) is enough of them have had armed civilians help them, and or know an armed civilian may be the person who saves them. Someone sure to make a point the cop white and the citizen black (cuz everything has to be reduce to race by race baiters) but just shows good guys come in all colors.

Inb4 some pleb who watches too much tv from their dorm room says "dude should have gone for the rear naked joke and only a pussy would need a gun"

There was no way he'd get charged an no way a trial jury would ever convict.

That video left out the part where the officer literally said "please shoot him". Not that I have any doubts about no charges even he hadn't. You don't physically attack a police officer like that and expect anything else, period.

I don't think you have the right to judge people in the situation. I've never been in one myself, but studies have proven that people in situations where an emergency happens, often do nothing, because they figure someone else has already done something/is doing something. It's not black and white.
