Never underestimate the power of sheer numbers, aka the 1.375 billion Chinese people.

Look at WWII and the Russians. Russia basically won because they had a fukton of troops that they could just keep sending and sending. (Yes I know the Germans went full retard trying to attack during winter which is a huge reason why they lost the Eastern front)

It would be much closer a fight than people think.

I would immediately think no, that with a large population, their military still doesn't compare to ours, but it wouldn't be an easy war, no.

But then when you look at history, for anyone that has studied history, history mostly shows that quantity beats quality. At a higher cost, but numbers always overwhelm. Only when the tech is outrageously different does quality prevail, but China has a solid military.

It be a much closer fight than you think. America is not a homogeneous country racially. The people in China are more willing to die for their country than in America. Cultural and internal forces will obstruct this nation even though it has the strongest military. Fighting a war with China means you have to quarantine every Asian in this nation in a concentration camp. The American nation will have more traitors in a war like that in comparison to China.

You have to remember the US has a set of laws that govern what it can/not do during a war. US goes to a war with a set of rules and leaders who try and kill as few of their own as possible. Also personally i think that no matter what happens the country that is on the offensive will lose eventually. For the most part everyones tech is so powerful that unless your are on your own land you are bound to lose (in regards to first world countries, ik other places have been taken over)

What I said in my post wasn't wrong, America was more racially homogenized before the 1960s. The virtue signalers in this nation will detriment "us" psychologically. It is much more tolerable to fight for your fellow man since they look like you than in a more diverse society.

First thing both nations would do is shoot down each others satellites leaving both sides blind, no way can the US hope to land and hold a country of 1b+ people with no eyes, no way would China's Navy or Airforce make it 100KM off its coast towards the USA before the USAF/USN destroyed every one of their ships.

Obviously the USA has a stronger military and far more tech, noone could touch the US mainland with a landing force, but on the flip side I honestly dont think the US has the numbers to hold ground in China against the sheer numbers the peoples army has, not to mention their tech isn't "bad" its just not on the same level as the US.

Comparing modern military tech with Vietnam war tech is the equivalent of comparing Vietnam tech with WW1 tech
