One of the officers involved in forcibly removing and dragging a passenger from an overbooked United Airlines flight was placed on leave Monday.

Why would any company, in this day and age with its advancements in cell phone technology, risk a stunt like this? Removing a passenger, with force, and inflicting injury in the process, is just stupid.
You need to board your staff? Standby or essential staff, you fix your own organisational issues in your own time and cost, without affecting yourcustomers. Send them on another flight or charter a private jet, surely the cost does not exceed the damage of reputation this 30 second clip is going to cost you.

So some airlines will even go higher then that if no one volunteers so they don't actually need to force you, and avoid an incident like this.
Instead they try to low ball volunteers first with $800 in vouchers LOL

I lived there there for multiple years. This is exactly the type of thing they do. He did everything on purpose, because he'll try to sue the airline for money now.
And I can give 100 examples of white people in china barely doing anything at all, and then every single newspaper in the country puts that person on the front page, condemning them, while saying that all chinese are perfect.
And every comment in a thread like this would be saying "that foreigner is a guest in our country, he needs to follow our rules". Even if he was born in China. They would still call him a "foreigner", because of the color of his skin.

I wish i could neg every single one of you cucks who suggested that the guy should "submit to authority" smfh, i thought this was MURICA.
This situation is super fukin simple. Somebody paid for a service thus making a contract that he will be flown to a destination and he's done everything on his part in order to recieve the service then the seller is trying to go back on their "contract" with the cutomerjust]so their operation could keep running smoothly and they can make more money from their future flights with the new crew. Does ANY of that matter to the customer? fuk no! They ****ed up with their logistics and somehow ended up overbooked and faced with the possiblity of losing alot of money from future flights without the new crew so they took the lazy route or forcing out a customer in order to keep profiting. They should not be given any slack here, their decision to remove him was purely out of greed so they can continue to make money with 0 regard to what's going to happen to this customer after throwing away his "contract". Big companies shouldn't have this much lee-way or an "authoritarian" figure over the small guy just because they're . This multi billion company should be at the same playing field with making deals with a customer as far as rights goes
Remember, this is supposed to be AMERICA, FREEDOM FOR ALL (individual freedom, not just companies)

Then again their CEO just doubled down on the stupidity, so I guess it's time for a boycott.

They should have just sucked it up and put the employees on another flight, or re-assigned someone else in the area of the destination to take the job. If paying customers would have to make that adjustment, the airline can make that adjustment.Yep. Didn't they have any higher ups who could have handled this? Like a regional officer? That was the offer. He probably could have used the $800 to book a flight the same night with another airline. idk what time it was and if there were more seats available on other airline flights.
Again, whining and holding onto the seat like a little babydoesn't help anything.

I don't know if it's on video, but in this Chinese article,http://news.xinhuanet.com/world/2017..._129529126.htm
it says he yelled "you only chose me because I'm Chinese". Even though any flight into or out of Chicago has probably at least 20 Chinese on it, so there's a good chance that of 4 people chosen randomly, 1 will be Chinese.

He's Chinese and if you don't know about Chinese people in America, let me inform you, they love to sue. 9/10 times you get into a fender bender with a Chinese person they will fake injury and sue the hell out of your insurance. With that said, United was totally in the wrong. I hope they lose millions.
