I've been in Georgia here to visit my grandmother and some family for Easter.

Decided to stop at some tactical shops! Blackpoint Tactical is based here so I got some IWB clips for my holster (which is a winged OWB holster but can be converted to IWB).

I was trying to hunt down some magazine pouches by them but they were hard to get, and even harder at a good price.

I ended up finding a double magazine pouch at Optics Planet. They look like this and are modular (can add or remove pouches. They make some for flashlights, AR magazines, handcuffs, etc). Kydex/Leather.









So it will be good for the outdoor range and the training classes I went to required you had a holster and a magazine pouch for some of their drills so I'm satisfied.

Also saw the Surefire XC1 and X300/Ultra lights in person. Interesting weapon lights but I see why many lean more towards the X300.

I'm probably hold more moderate values than anyone here, and some of my political philosophies are more Libertarian than anything but not extreme.

I will say this with interacting with people on ********, talking politics post-Trump, and interacting with a LOT of liberals being in Austin: Disagreeing with someone is a SIN nowadays lol.

I got unfriended by calling out self-serving feminists who marched post election. Also just general disdain from people. I've heard people threaten violence against Trump supporters and people encouraging the riots and public disturbances after this.

It's ridiculous. It's also OK to disagree with people! Jesus. Liberals right now don't get that and it bit them in the ass. It surprises some people I take a more moderate stance and don't fall for liberal traps because I'm a black man, but I see it LOL.

Not to say I don't have my gripes with far right conservatives. I totally do. The left is cutting the cake right now though.

With soft pouches you can face them either direction, but with kydex you will have to face either forward or backward. If you don't know which you prefer, maybe stick a mag in your waist band and try not to think about it, but reach or a reload and see which way you grab it and how you try to insert it.

IIRC, xc1 is the light that Farley had a few issues with malfunctions and them not being able to repair correctly. I know a few people that seem to be happy with the x300, and 1 who seems to be upset with the xc1. Do with that info what you will.

I think most people in this thread consider themselves Libertarian, but it can be a bit Conservative leaning. But I think it's easier to start identifying with Conservatives the more you see what Liberals are pulling.

I've been unfriended by at least a couple people for only even hinting that I voted Trump or commenting that not everyone who did is a racist/misogynist/etc. It's insane.

Not all Trump supporters/republicans are angels, there are pieces of chit in every group. However, the narrative that is pushed that all Trump supporters are these racist, sexist, homophobic, violent bigots is insane considering it's quite the opposite. The left has become violent on an unprecedented level this political cycle. To a point that, as you experienced, simply disagreeing with them is sinful and you're seen as an enemy. Time and time again we see extremist leftist violence carried out unprovoked on anything that contrasts them. Violence wise, there were a couple incidents of pro-Trumpers attacking people, but it was extremely rare. We know this because those few incidents were blown up by the media. Had there been more, it would have been covered. The left attacked Trump supporters at nearly every chance they got.

It's great that for unusual circumstances like Berkeley (where the police have literally been ordered not to intervene and have literally left the protest areas), the anti-Trump idiots are not having free reign anymore. People are fighting back, literally.

The more the left does things like what you experienced, the more they will bury themselves deeper.

I must have watched this video a dozen times by now, since every time I go to post it I find myself watching it. I've never agreed with a liberal more and besides the little comment about him believing Bernie would have beaten Trump (I have no doubt Trump was winning regardless of who he was up against), he hits the nail on the head on literally everything.

^ agreed. That was a really good video that I couldn't disagree with much. I was never as confident in Trump's victory as you were, but I think he would have easily beaten Sanders. And i'll add that it's not embarrassment that prevented me from talking about being a Trump voter, but that I didn't want to deal with the conversations with mentally deficient idiots on why it was the better choice in my eyes.

Man, I'm right on board with you. I can't think of someone I wouldn't have voted over her. The scary thing is, in the straight popular vote, she won. There are more voting American citizens who chose her than didn't. I don't know what to make of it, but I don't like it.

Working on the dueling tree a bit, planning how I want the base. Went to the gym on Easter and failed to dl 405lb. Sometimes I wish I had t-rex arms. I can get 315 easy, the most I've done is around 345-350ish. Going from 315 to 405 is much too great though, next time!!

Good price. The "base price" for aimpoint PROs is like $430, so 15% off gets you down to about $370. Unless you find a 25% off sale or something, you'll have a hard time beating that pricepoint.

Morning and happy Easter to those who celebrate. Cool mag pouches sword. It's a shame that the political climate has become so polarizing. I understand that by the nature of the issues on which groups disagree on there will be animosity but it's pretty damned high right now. I try not to talk about politics with Co workers because it could be tricky, yesterday me and a few of the Fab guys were at lunch and the Berkely stuff was on TV at the place we were at. One of the guys said "ohh **** look at that an anti Trump protest, etc." To which I said something to the effect of I can't believe these protesters would rather give up freedoms and be represented by a weak government than stand up for our nation. Dude couldn't believe that I was not on the anti Trump train. Conversation about that stopped there and it was kind of awkward for a few minutes I could tell he was irritated that I was not opposed to the current POTUS.

Finished 13 reasons why last night would recommend/10 p good, p sad.

Yeah, I'm not really sure, other than I think so many people thought that both were such a joke, many of them stayed home. But then again, liberal cesspools like where I'm at have such a large population that it's really not a surprise.

Yep I ordered these mag pouches to play around with some reload drills with them to see if they will work for me. The ones at the stores I saw by Blackpoint were the single/spare ones and not the modular system ones. They should be comfortable for me and easy to use so I will see what's up.

XC1 is a mixed bag and the XC2 looks like there will be improvements but I played with the XC1 on a fake Glock and it was OK. Prob would get the X300 IF I got a light but I don't think I will buy one any time soon. I just want the option.

It's great that for unusual circumstances like Berkeley (where the police have literally been ordered not to intervene and have literally left the protest areas), the anti-Trump idiots are not having free reign anymore. People are fighting back, literally.

The more the left does things like what you experienced, the more they will bury themselves deeper.

I must have watched this video a dozen times by now, since every time I go to post it I find myself watching it. I've never agreed with a liberal more and besides the little comment about him believing Bernie would have beaten Trump (I have no doubt Trump was winning regardless of who he was up against), he hits the nail on the head on literally everything.

It's ****ing appalling. I realized post election having a slightly different view will get you vilified. I don't get political in the office space but I have made a few small comments here and there saying that we should talk to each other now that the election results are what they are.

Kind of disgusting considering that I considered myself moderately liberal for some time. Being in technology you see a lot of liberal minded folks so it's bound to happen. I just hope we can speak intelligent towards one another instead of throwing insults to one another.

Nah I've got a vortex viper 1x4 in a quick detach mount that is living on my 16" 5.56 right now, the 14.5" has a spitfire 1x and the 16" M5 .308 has a 4x12 nikon for longer distance stuff but I rarely shoot distance (no range near enough to do it regularly).

I'm just kinda curious about building a .300BLK for novelty purposes and maybe home defense since I already have a .30 cal can, mostly just cause it's a receiver set not being utilized and the COP is like 10" so it would work with a short barrel.

I've had zero issue with my Xc1. So many good holster options available too where it doesnt even add size to it. Well worth the money imo.

Farley only had issues with his because he goes too far in his "torture tests" of equipment by putting the it in a tub of XF up2.0 and shaking it a few times until the XC1 is completely coated with protein powder.
