So the Vortex Viper scope may not work out. They're saying the earliest they would get scopes in is in September, and that's from their distributors as well. Someone at Optics Planet said they've done this before with the gen 1 Vipers, and he expects that date to get pushed back even further. Definitely don't feel like waiting that long, possibly longer.

Looking at a Burris XTR II, anyone use one?

Yeah, just seems like still allowing campfires and shooting doesn't help in the prevention lol.

I too bring a shovel though in case of any fires.

XTR ll gets good reviews on snipers hide. Looked at a 3-15x myself for a while. Getting at that glass, a Bushnell DMR 3.5-21x is a sweet choice too.

Edit: I lied, I carried a CZ P-07 for a little while too. But me and my 19's have literally thousands of hours of carry and bonding time together.
If I sent you guys the polymer frame of my fnx .45 for cerakote would I have to totally disassemble it or do you guys have a gunsmith kinda person who does that stuff?

A Bushnell DMR/HDMR was another I was looking at. So many choices lol.

Vortex Viper
Burris XTR
Bushnell DMR

That was what I had narrowed my list down to when going through everything. Now not sure, have to dig further into those other two options now that the Viper is out.

Was about to say I PMed you but just saw you replied, I'll shoot you one back.

Sightron master race. +1 for the bushnell too. I don't know anyone who owns nor have I ever seen a Burris XTR IRL- that doesn't mean they are bad though

We can disassemble. We charge a flat $60 to disassemble any frames that aren't Glock.

Updated to its 2nd gen version (DMR ll). Regular DMr's can be found on the hide for ~$950. Great scope. Compact and has a wide zoom range.

I have a Nightforce NXS now for a shorty .308 I did, but I almost weekly consider getting another DMR instead.

Would rather look like germanic and have his strength than be some average easily-obtained-in-less-than-1-year-of-lifting <200lbs body. Pretty sure he cut at one point and looked good too.
