i'm still fairly new to the gun game, but to my understanding, AR's across companies are going to be fairly similar within the same price ranges. Mine is an Armalite LTC-M15 ($1000, CA born, had to go with CA made company),Smith and Wesson sells the M&P sport 2 for like $7-800, then there's better companies like Daniel Defense and LWRC which start to go into the $14-1600 range.

Really depends on your budget. one reason i went with the armalite is it already comes with a low profile gas block (no typical cylinder handguard that your typical M4/AR15 has), looks a bit more sleek IMO and a bit easier to modify/add attachments as you have a full rail.

i'm sure that above sentence makes no sense, honestly best bet would be to go to a gun store, ask to see their AR's give them a budget, and pick one out you like. can't really go wrong as far as quality/reliability goes

Tampa/St. Pete is awesome. I go to at least one live concert a month and there's some great little venues that pull big name bands. We turn it into a whole epic night by going up in the afternoon and do a restaurant for steaks, and a brewery or two before the show. Been spending more time in Pete - there's a little place called the State Theater that's a badass place to see a band.
