Face it Americel. Australia is superior to America in every way.

I'd love to stay and chat but I think I might go for a 5 minute walk to some of the best beaches in the world then I might decide to stop by a hospital and fake an illness and not have to pay a cent to get treated. While I'm at it I might go work a minimum wage job and still be on more money than the average American with a bachelors degree. It's also 2am that I'm doing these things but it doesn't matter because I can go out at night without the fear of getting shot.

Nah they're not patriotic, they just talk a lot about it. The person who claim to be a patriot quite often would not hesitate to litter or would not donate a penny to a helpful cause. Imo a patriot has to have a sense of civic duty, he has to participate in the betterment of the country actively beside paying taxes. This is what most Americans lack, they think signing up for Selective Service and voting every four years and standing up for the national anthem means they're patriots. They're posers.

The more patriotic people would be the Japanese, but you won't hear it because unlike the Americans, they don't boast about it. Even the Brits are more patriotic.

The idea behind the US is awesome.

Almost all other countries are made up of tribes of people and that's it. For instance, if you're a black guy living in England, and you were born there, you aren't "English" you're a black guy who lives in England.

In the US, you can be a person who just got here yesterday, is very critical of America, and that makes you very American!

That's because the idea of America is for all kinds of people to come here and add good things to the culture. Good things include, not liking America, but talking about why, not killing innocent people or anything. Freedom of speech, equality, and so on are great ideas to be proud of.

Americans can be proud because the country, and individuals, DECIDE to embrace these concepts rather than having them be some tribe ritual or custom everyone has to do or they're cast out of the tribe.

Yes, that's how real Americans act and think.

Being an American means being a philosopher where you're constantly applying the ideal to new situations. It's like going to the gym, you always have to do it and be aware of the need to keep in condition.

It always cracks me up when I meet foreign people and they think they're insulting me when they criticize America. I say, "Well, with that attitude, you'd make a great American!"

Tribal people can't typically speak out against their tribe because it upsets the order, insults elders, and so on. But, countries like the US encourage it because it's about challenging and improving the philosophy, not challenging ancient customs, dogmatic religious rules, and so forth.

America, at its best, is something to be proud of because active nature of the system. It goes back to ancient Greece in Athens where they actually had everyone participate in government. We don't have that, but it's kinda close.

Brahs I hate to admit it, but this country is going to chit. It's not just the liberals, conservatives are bat chit crazy too. We hate each other just because of our religion. We hate each other just because of our political beliefs. We shoot each other up in malls, schools and restaurants. We're racist as phuk. We put a premium on education and then go tens of thousands of dollars into debt to get that education. Then we spend 10 years working to pay that off. Then we buy a house and spend 30 years paying that off. We live to work, we don't work to live. I'm an optimistic brah, so I try to stay positive but forreal brahs we're in trouble. The fukin elite control the government, the banks, the media. Half of our country is fukin brainwashed by the kardashians and honey boo boo. We're slowly losing our freedoms and we don't even realize it.

at least we have the opportunity to do so. in many countries owning your own home is just a dream. and almost ANYONE can find a job on which they can survive...this is not the case in every country around the world.

like i said previously, US is not perfect, but it's the damn closest thing to it.
