"Undergraduate, masters or PhD students graduating in 2018 from a university in the UK or Ireland, or those who have graduated in the past two years, should apply by 26 October 2017. The applications will open in September 2017."
If you want to apply for September 2018 you have to have your application in by October THIS year. McKinsey are not still interviewing for their 2017 intake, they were done months ago.

Your threads are PATHETIC. Good luck getting through the background check @ McK if you make it that far. You ****ing lying muppet. You are as much a fund manager as a gamer is a special ops soldier. Also PE = PRIVATE EQUITY, your current experience is on PUBLIC equity markets. LOL.
Also since none of us believe you went to Cambridge - post a spoon pic of your degree.

I doubt I will ever get the capacity to become a Hedge Fund, but it would be quite sweet to try and dabble in VC

I have had stocks move 100% up (and down) in a day...
Get a track record.
As someone who has "made it" and invests in a bunch of stuff including start ups, where ever I can I look for a track record...

I submitted my CV and cover letter last October.
The online testing, telephone interview, assessment centre, group and panel interviews and psychometric testing has led me to the final round 1-to-1 partner interview next Tuesday and I hear back by next Friday
