The UK works differently to the US. The conversion of grades is that 75%+ in the UK = 4.0 in the US.

If you want to apply for September 2018 you have to have your application in by October THIS year. McKinsey are not still interviewing for their 2017 intake, they were done months ago.

Get a track record.

As someone who has "made it" and invests in a bunch of stuff including start ups, where ever I can I look for a track record...

I submitted my CV and cover letter last October.

The online testing, telephone interview, assessment centre, group and panel interviews and psychometric testing has led me to the final round 1-to-1 partner interview next Tuesday and I hear back by next Friday

I have been working with the Nigerian start up that I have a controlling share in since I graduated. That's the PE element of my business. The investment drawn from the Dentist was recent yes, but that's why my updated CV says "Fund Manager" from April 2017. Prior to that my older CV just said "Founder"
