Religion: all just convincing you you "need" them for the "afterlife" in order to gain power and money from you

Tipping culture: A way for restaraunt owners to offload their employee fees to the consumer, a way for low skilled waiters (no offense to any here, but it isnt a high skill level, maybe high stress but a monkey could deliver food) to earn more than they are truly worth by making people basically feel guilty for not tipping "cause muh 2.50 an hour". Ask any waiter if they would switch to 10 an hour guaranteed and they will laugh ion your face

Tipping for bar tenders to open a beer or pour one, just lmao

Chiropractors: Unproven science, literally scam you into thinking you "need" them to "readjust their bones" just lmao this is 21st century

Sadly, modern day capitalism. Most of the profits from our system go to the elite at the top through dividends and stock increases, the true value produced by the workers goes to those at the top....

CEO pay is insane and theoretically it shouldnt be happening with publicly owned companies, board of directors, shareholder vote ect. BRB getting fired and a $50 million bonus to be fired from a company you ran into the ground. WTF.

The biggest one I can think of is the food industry. Brb processed foods are shot full of all kinds of awful **** and sold for pennies meanwhile lean cuts of beef bring a premium. I butcher my own beef and gather vegetables from my garden while avoiding processed foods unless absolutely necessary. The processed food shoved in people faces 25/7 is poisoning them, I'm positive of it. All the physical and mental conditions that plague society are completely foreign to me. I don't get sick ever, I get physicals done every 6 months and I'm always top tier healthy with absolutely no conditions to speak of aside from old injuries and test levels high af. I legitimately feel bad for all you bros that are forced to eat that crap due to lack of choices.

i like video games but there really is a false reward system for it.

a lot of microtransactions taking place make games seem like scams....like this game on your phone, Game of War. $100 for packs to basically even play the game and shortly later in order to keep up you have to keep buying packs and have deep pockets where as earning things don't exist. I understand getting an edge/advantage for things you pay for, but those things should still be capable of being earned. paying for things in a videogame that can't be earned otherwise makes the game a scam. however, playing longer where those things can be earned I will at least understand a bit
