She was not dating anyone else while we were dating. We talked every day all day long while we were dating and constantly making plans weeks in advance. I could see how much she was into me when I looked into her eyes, but she had a lot of personal issues going on back home in Brazil and there was nothing she could do about it, and I think she was really overwhelmed with it all.

I have no idea if she started seeing someone else after me, but I have a pretty good sense of what type of person she is, and I believed her when she said she wasn't ready. I never got the sense she was blowing me off for someone else. There are some pretty easy signs to gather when that happens.

I don't know if its a change of heart. She very well could just want to be friends. Women are experts at giving off mixed signals.

EDIT:

I forgot to mention i ran a half marathon Sunday. I was running a good pace, but my knee started hurting so I slowed down. I see Leti pass by me. She was running with a guy, that I assume is her B/F. She had changed her status to in a relationship 3 weeks after I broke it off with her, so there's a good example of having other options. He is a classmate of hers, so obviously they had been talking while we were dating "exclusively," and why she stopped giving me as much attention towards the end.

Anyhow, she of course ignored me while passing me. It felt super awkward, so I didn't say anything, but as I was following them he kept asking her to take her headphones off so he could give her running advice. 1.) She hates talking while running, 2.) she's been running half marathons for 3+ years. I could see how agitated she was with him and I couldn't help but chuckle.

Depending on the girl and problems in your life there is tons of reasons. But you are generally right

Gotta love it when chicks in your social circle try to friendzone you after you bang them and you are like:

They end up with someone else or date multiple guys that last long enough for the dude's to pound them out a few months then once they're single again they look for any excuse to hit me up and try to be super flirty and mentioning all the upcoming events we need to go to this summer and i'm like:

Shame, i'll be busy this summer doing some extreme landscaping and only have time for group hang-outs and dates.
but if they really want to see me they will ask to come over after dark to hang for a fire/swim/hot tub.

funny thing is I don't even want to date these women anymore.
the fact i haven't initiated contact with them since they tried to friendzone me at the end of last summer should be their first clue.

pay attention you guys who get friendzoned.
you reject it.
you don't get butt-hurt but you make it clear through actions, not words that unless she wants something romantic you got better things to do.
sometimes they change their mind and start chasing.
but you have to remain cool and busy and treat them like that annoying guy in the group you don't want to pal around with and force them to corner you at your home if they want to see you.
Always have a cool "project" you need to do so you are "busy".
then you smash.

Time to nut up and ask her what she wants with you.
if she don't want to date then why are you wasting your time and energy flirting with her?

If I'm still confused about it after we hang out Friday I will ask.

I don't have any desire to just be friend with her, or any woman, really. If i think she is good enough to be my friend, that is attractive to me and I would want to date her.

C'mon dude.
when they change overnight on you it's because someone "better" appeared.
when they all of a sudden come back and try to pick up where you left off as if nothing happened it's because "better" either wasn't or was tired of banging her and moved on.
So now they are boomeranging back to you.

also, she clearly lied to you about not being ready.
when a woman drops me because she isn't ready then gets into a relationship with another guy and comes back to me when it ends i call them out on that chit and make them prove they want me.
FYI - these are low quality women and not relationship material so don't expect much even if you do end up back with her.

I get where you are coming from because you date a **** ton of low quality women, but there are signs when a woman is monkey branching. Pretty certain that was not the case. We were just dating, she was free to do what she wanted, but I could tell there was no one else.

She stayed single for 2 years after her divorce and I was her first go at seriously dating. And don't forget, I have 3 kids and she has none. Not being ready also could have been about my situation and not her mental and emotional state. Maybe it was a combination of the 3. Maybe she thinks she's ready now or maybe she just wants to be friends. I have no idea, but it's not because someone better came along and didn't work out. Pretty certain of that.

Is this the Brazilian one that's a psychologist?

She could have had her own things going. Most girls I know would just string a guy along even if they're not ready, and if they stopped seeing someone it's probably because they were giving someone else a go. If you're 100% certain she wasn't one of those, then have you talked to her about wtf happened to cause her to change her mind?
They said she's gone too far this time

I'm with Nitro on this one pondus. You can never be so sure with women. The fact that she did come back only a few weeks after "not being ready" further reinforces this. If she waited 6 months+, then ya, I could chalk that up to taking some time for oneself. Legit ask her why the sudden change and in person so you can observe her. I would also be throwing in jokes about being second choice to let her know you ain't dumb just incase she is up to no good. Think about it, why would somebody end a good thing, EVEN if they are not ready? I wouldn't and neither would you prob. If me and nitro are correct, she said she is not ready to soften the blow on you.

This has happened to me a few times; few weeks break and then she is back EXPLICITLY claiming to not have been with anybody since yet was on dating sites the next day lmao. Let me guess, your girl said she hasn't been seeing anyone else either? IME, this is what women do with high value dudes. They date these jerks on the dating sites, realize they all the same and then try to come back to good dudes like me and you BEFORE someone else steals us away.

On the principle that she dipped, then came back, I'd be gaming her with a smile if I was you, sink your claws in her bruh

so she broke up with you because she claimed she wasn't ready for a relationship or whatever nonsense i remember she said to use an excuse to end things then ended up in a social media official relationship 3 weeks later with a classmate of hers.

Now months later she is hitting you up again out of the blue and acting like nothing happened?

do i understand it correctly?

She's not a psychologist.

If you guys think that's what happened, I suppose I could be wrong. I'm pretty skeptical as it is, but I will definitely ask her when I see her Friday. If she does actually want to date again I can't just go into it like nothing happened. I have to know the truth if I can begin to trust her again.

No, no. That was Leti, the woman I dated before Fabi, and she is in a relationship now and I haven't talked to her since we broke it off. She didn't say she wasn't ready, she just stopped acting interested, so I broke it off. I just happen to see her Sunday at the half marathon.

Fabi isn't hitting me up like nothing happened. She reached out to me to apologize out of the blue, but the more we talk and catch up, the more we are flirting with each other.

I use the "Brad Pitt rule"(or other celebrity/crush/whatever). If you were Brad Pitt, would she have said she wasn't ready? If you can honestly answer yes, then I would move forward. Best of luck, I would tread lightly and carefully, but you already seem to know that.

Letting your guard down when you like someone, we are all guilty of it bruh. IME, they will seldom tell you the truth if she was seeing someone else because she doesn't want you to think that you are second choice. Heck, I wouldn't tell her either if I dipped, dated other people, then decided to come back lol. Keep an eye on her phone, are guys messaging? This is the only way to have an idea of whats going on IMO.

That kind of behavior was never happening the first time around. Like I said, she was texting me 24/7 and when we were together she never took out her phone and was 100% focused on me.

Although it is great that she focuses her attention solely on you, it also don't mean chit if she doesn't have her phone out TBH. Infact, some will keep it away just so you don't see the texts coming in from other men. She goes to the bathroom, touch the screen and see if anyone has messaged. Admittedly this is sketch, but I just don't like to waste time as i've done that enough in my lifetime and so have you by the sounds of it. If you find she keeps her phone away but there is no activity from other men on it, then you should consider her more seriously. Don't mean to sound like a negative Nancy, but just making you aware of some of these things just incase you ain't. I have experienced women like this.

I know women who leave their phones in the car and such when with a guy because it is always going off from dudes looking to get with them.
i've had women come over for the night and leave their phones in the car.

That's weird to me.

I've also had FWB texting the men they meet off online dating "sweet dreams" before we upstairs to bang. lol.

I have experienced women like this.

i've had women come over for the night and leave their phones in the car.

That's weird to me.

I've also had FWB texting the men they meet off online dating "sweet dreams" before we upstairs to bang. lol.
No woman has ever fooled me like that. I am very aware of my surroundings and I pick up on very small queues and patterns. It's why I am really good at poker.

Same.
I can usually ( 99% ) of the time tell from just their first text of the day to me when something changed and i can expect the flake followed by the fade out or straight up ghost.

I'm down.

UPDATE:

Okay, so I was chatting this morning with Fabi about Friday and fished a bit. I'm pretty sure she's open to more if the chemistry is still there.

Not saying that's what I want, though, because of what happened. I guess we will just wait and see what goes down.

One thing I have noticed, both times she has come into my life, I've had nothing else going on with other women and I had no desire to, so she gets 100% of my attention. Very strange.

They aren't all sloots.
i just don't bother posting about the quality women i meet who are boring AF because they would rather read a book or watch a movie than go out to see some free live music at a bar or go hiking or just hang out with my friends outside on the deck.
Nice women, good careers, cute, good in bed but just don't ever want to do anything.

not for me. but seems like i usually meet one extreme or the other, i usually post about the sloots cause nice girls don't do anything wrong.

most women are under "tinder - name" or "Bumble - name" in my phone. LOL!
after a few weeks of not hearing from them i delete anyways.

These women need a therapist like mine who won't allow them to do online dating.

All of that nonsense of saying goodnight to online white knights is just a waste of time.

this is painful.

These chicks are early to mid 40's attractive women and don't online date.
They just go out, party all the time, and hand out their number like candy on Halloween.

i get about 3 bangs out of them average before they try to friendzone me and add me to their universe of orbiters. LOL!

Patience, not showing desperation, seeming like you don't care and no pressure pays off Nitro son! Makes her work harder to make you want her, provided that's what she wants. I agree with his approach, he shouldn't let her know she has him like you are basically suggesting. If it were me though, I would also be looking for subtle ways to make her jelly and let her know that her time is expiring unless she acts fast. ie) "can't tonight, already have plans with a friend", "my night was good, just hung out with a friend and you?, "just catching up with an old friend" etc. Then you see them and they be like "so are you free tomorrow too?"

Exactly, because I can figure it out on my own, without looking needy. And if I did want more and can't tell where she is at, I wouldn't ask. I would tell her if she doesn't want more then we need to stop.

I've never really been in this situation before. I've never connected back up with a woman I once dated.

This could all be simplified and real intentions would be known by pondus simply asking her out but he's meaner than that and likes to make them ask him out from what I've seen lol. Hit her with the subtle jelly pondus and she'll be asking alright
