Seriously. Is it something in our food or water? So many young guys are going full autism nowadays. They can't work up the courage to talk to women in real life or even make eye contact with them, and then blame their lack of dating success on their appearance or whatever. Doesn't help that dating apps, internet porn and social media have turned western men into complete pussies. I bet most of the FAs here on the misc have never even actually asked a girl out in person before...

General social anxiety and inability to meet new people. Unrealistic expectations of social interactions, fear of rejection and lack of experience in maintaining meaningless conversation which helps in normal social interactions.
All because there are other sources of dopamine (internet, etc...), so they're never forced outside to play and interact with people. This is mostly a post-internet phenomenon.

Yes this.

Nobody actually talks to people face to face in the under 25 demographic. People 'play' with 'friends' in online games, 'talk' to 'friends' on ********, **** like that. You ever see home-schooled kids who are a bit socially awkward? It's spread to all kids since they are basically just living to interact with different screens now.

or they can make you feel like a complete creep, or a loser, it's kinda tough to learn without making mistakes, and nowadays anything can be screenshotted and shared. Talking to girls isn't as simple as walking up to them, you have to master communication and appearance both in person and social media.

Life is getting tougher tbh and people are becoming a lot less sociable.

Honestly, I think it is the condemnation of sexualization through media. Growing up, women are taught the hard to get mentality and men. Men are taught to chase, but now the "rape culture" backlash with all this liberal stuff is making men more timid in their approaches. Right or wrong, women want to be desired, but all this feminist bull**** that is a constant stream into our society is making men timid and afraid of pushing and making moves. With respect, I mean there is a line with being creepy and confident, I just think all this socialization is confusing most guys more than it should and it blurs the line so men just dont act and it comes off as "fear" of women, but its really fear of doing the wrong thing and getting into "trouble"

Then you have actual shy guys, but thats another issue.

Also, the loser trophy and everyone wanting to "coddle" everyone. This generation of men are growing up to be pussies, no wonder why women have "the power"

Come on mate what kind of chit is this? No one is gonna accuse you of rape for talking to them. You dont have to be some social media mastermind to talk to girls. Believe this is all in your head.
Some guy i tutor at a café is awkward as chit, not Chad looks either and he cold approaches girls all the time while we study, and guess what, even if hes awkward no one has accused him of rape yet and they're all fairly nice to him.

Top reason for everyone is Technology. I think texting is The biggest problem because it is used so much nobody actually calls and talks to each other anymore. Texting gives people 5-10mins...1hr to come up with something witty to say but when those people are forced to respond in seconds in real life conversation they just can't handle the pressure and fail. This is actually problem w girls too because I had some conversations w girls and over text they are so much fun to talk to but in real life their personality turns into a brick.

Main reason for why guys are pussies is because of fapping and porn has become so normalized in our societies. Me and my friends all joke about fapping and watching porn it's assumed everyone does it. Tv and movies make it seem like it's not a big deal but it's actually very bad for you especially if you over do it i.e. Fap watch porn everyday. Porn and fapping gives guys social anxiety low confidence and makes them not care much about talking to girls at all. It kills motivation and increases depression because it makes everything else you do seem boring since it ruins your dopomine levels.

Those that have gone on no porn no fap for 2-3 weeks or more will know what I'm talking about. After two weeks - three weeks you start finding reasons to get out of the house see girls and talk to people.

let me tell you the real reasons I dont do it and have never attempted to ask a girl out.

#1 I dont know what to say or how to say it
#2 I have a weak/quiet voice and hate how it sounds
#3 I probably look 40 when i'm only 26.. also look like an ugly creep.
#4 fear of creeping out/false harassment charges
#5 embarrassment of rejection
#6 past interactions with women and failures

so what do I do?

I try online stuff..
sadly though.. I get the same reaction from women..

They dont look at me, they dont match with me , they dont respond.. some block me after I simply view their profile.. some call me ugly.. so yeah.
