23 yrs after the Genocide, Rwanda is the safest and cleanest country on the continent
According to the 2016/17 international surveys. For all of you miscers who would be interested in visiting some parts of Africa but have been scared by unsavoury images in the media:
Rwanda is still poor, landlocked, with a large uneducated population; a large majority of whom are under 17 and hardly has any natural resources but we have a determined population and a low tolerance for corruption, so we are determined to make it.
We also have HBBs (if you like the tall, thin women with six heads and crazy waist to hip ratios), amazing landscapes, rainforest, volcanoes, mountain gorillas and the usual savannah stuff: lions and whatnot.
Come visit. I extend this invitation to African miscers first, followed by others. No racist. Just that they are probably closer.

When I was a kindergarden kid, I bought a toy horse made by people from Rwanda from an UNICEF stand to support them during the genocide 1990-1993.
One of the first things I bought myself. Also the first time I heard the word genocide. I still have it.
