Haven't had a real binge since 2013 diet. But that was also the first time I actually pushed myself to get lean.

Family coming up from Alabama until Wednesday. Squeezing 6 people in a 3 BR/1 BR house, 1400 sqft. Going to be exciting. Probably BBQ tomorrow, ribs and pulled pork I think. We'll see what's up at the grocery store. Greensboro shuts downtown for the 4th and it's usually a fiasco, so we'll probably go down there to let the kids play.
Squat/Deadlifts this morning. Hit more reps than 3 weeks ago at 3-4 lbs lighter so that's a hell-yeah. Plus belt was looser.
It seems to me that there are about 100 ways to lose fat, and all work well until you get to 8-10% BF. Why anyone would want to go below that is beyond me (unless competing). For me, ideal male BF is around 12%. Enough to see the abs and separation, but not reaching striations. Makes you look a lot bigger with a little fat left imo.

In on this crew. Just got two weeks left of hard cutting until July 14, then maintenance for 2 weeks. We'll see where to go after that. Will post pics in two weeks- can't wait to get lean for the first time in my life!

It's interesting though because last night I had a small bagel (150 calories) and that was enough to cause a small whoosh in my weight the next morning after an 8 day stall. I wonder if this giant carbup will magnify that effect.

"All I've had today was scotch and a gummy bear!"
Hate to drink alcohol, but it seems to help. Lol I am on day 2 of 1200-1400 calories and 50g or less of carbs. Having a Coke Zero with about 2.5oz of vodka. That will be it for the day though. Just need something to chill me out and take my mind off of food.
When I bump back up, which will be on on Sunday, I will be going low carb until the 4th. Want to look shredded as fuark.

Morning cutting crew. Had a chicken bacon ranch pizza Friday night to reefed, woke up Saturday looking leaner, zero bloat. I'm learning to plan these well. Stayed disciplined over the holiday as well, just had some filet, baked potato, and a little pasta salad...zero alcohol.
Was able to rep out 315 x 8 on flat bench today, a far cry from my previous best, but by far my best at sub 230lbs.

Morning fellas. Went off the diet yesterday and woke up lighter than the day before. Keeping cals in check today, and tomorrow I'll just eat what's placed in front of me. Yesterday was my first time drinking at all in about 2 months and I killed a 12 pack in 3 hours. Feel like chit so I'll probably continue to stay away from alcohol for a while lel.

Was wonderng what happened to everyone over the last couple days.
I have been trying to drop water weight for a pool party on the 4th. Going well so far, but someone invited us to eat dinner with them this afternoon and I am going to have trouble keeping to the water loss diet as a result. Hoping they make burgers, so I can just eat a burger or two with some onions and still be able to stick to it.
Any suggestions? The pool party is tomorrow at 4, so I think it will still be too early to start the carbs.

Kraken, don't worry about it. Eat the best you can today, carb up tomorrow morning, and have fun. Even if you do nothing you will look better than every other person at the party. At our age this is pretty much guaranteed.
I took everyone's advice, increased cals from ~1900 to 2400. Looks pretty good in the mornings! Only problem is for some reason when I hit 2300-2400 cals my appetite takes off and tells me to keep eating. A carbonated water seems to take care of the issue but holy cow, last night I almost sat down with a bag of Fritos and went to town on it.
Glad the Yoda master is in to show us how it's done? What's the diet look like?

obsessing about water weight for a bbq is stupid considering that 90% of the population has a beer gut so who gives a **** if your abs arent as defined as if you were depleted.
Enjoy the bbq and eat some food. Salt the food too.

The problem is, I really don't know when you intoduce carbs back in to time it right for tomorrow at 4pm. Was thinking a few hours before, but read somewhere that it should start the day before. If it's the day before, then I should actually be better off hitting carbs tonight and tomorrow if I am still not looking fuller and dry

Day 11 of cut, so far I've averaged under 1700 calories per day so far, no cheats or anything. Have had good workouts and found it easy to stick to macros so far. Cutting for about 3 more weeks. Tdee should be around 2700-2900ish so I think I'm in a good deficit.
Eating satiating and micronutrient rich foods really makes a huge difference when trying to go for low calories. I've tried going this low with a iffym in the past and that lead to some serious hunger, dizzyness when standing up at times, and strong cravings for sweet foods.
