lol i was doing all i could not to laugh in that other owner's face. dude got plenty of treats when we got home

just sucks when people make those assumptions right off the bat without even giving the dog a chance. More disheartening than anything, cuz I know deep down he's friendly and gentle as can be, and have the still-living cats, small dogs, and young toddlers to prove it.

^^FrazettaStrike, RE: CP comment, totally understandable man. Particularly if you aren't familiar with bigger dogs or have one yourself, it makes sense why someone would be nervous...after all it's a dog usually about 1/3 to half your weight with a much more efficient attack system and usually better instincts. Nothing wrong with being cautious...at the end of the day you gotta watch out for yourself.

if anything I'm pretty sure other dog owners at my dog park don't like me very much because I don't talk to them much, if at all. I'm there for my dog, and there to make sure he has a good time and doesn't make any other doges have a bad time. P much spend the whole time following him around picking up his poop, tossing balls, or making sure he or other dogs don't get too unruly.

always LMAO when people bring their little kids into the dog park...all it takes is one bigger dog to run em over and cause a srs injury lol.

Don't take her into a MAC shop or Sephora.

You'll be looking for cheaper rents soon if you do.

But hey! You want her to look pretty don't you? (Drug store makeup reeks havoc on our skins)

That's the thing. He's the sweetest dog i've ever known. I can't move an inch without him taking 6 to make up the distance. Anytime anyone comes over, they're the center of attention and all he wants to do is love you, kiss you, lean on you, get belly rubs. etc. What people don't realize is they're essentially 50+lb lap dogs. They're seriously the biggest baby breed i've ever come across. Anyone who's ever met him, and spent time with him loves him. I've even had people go as far as to say "he's the best dog they've ever met.". He's a true advocate for the breed.

Dude yes. exactly the same with mine. I literally go to the bathroom to pee, and he follows me in there and waits for me to finish washing my hands before he walks back out. If i'm not out right after him, he comes back to check on me. On the bed, it always starts out a 50/50 split when we sleep, but throughout the night it starts migrating to a 75/25 split in his favor lmao.

If anything, people get annoyed by how loving he is cuz all he wants to do with anyone who comes over is go say hi, lick their face, maybe see if they'll let him jump up on them, follow them to whatever chair/sofa/bed they're gonna sit on, hop up with them/in their lap, then lean in for some kisses

the all time GOAT is waking up to him sitting on the bed looming over me, sniffing for some kisses. Doesn't happen too often tho cuz he's lazy af and likes to sleep in.

His grays...He's getting old. He's 11 now, but he's really healthy, so who knows (and I don't even want to think about it.).

How much does Archer weigh?

Mirin 11, he looks real good for it from the pics. Know how you feel not wanting to think about it. I'm still holding out for some new technology in the next 5-7 years.

Archer is about 85lbs, maybe 88 on a cheat day? Sometimes I feel like he's pretty small for his weight, but he's dense af. Upper legs like a fukkin horse

That's why I can't stand to get another pet man, it hurt to say goodbye to this cheeky lady who liked to lay on clean laundry.

coat looking soft af, would rub my face in if my sinuses weren't deathly allergic to kitty saliva. would bet money that laundry was fresh out the dryer, or sitting in the sun a while

can confirm...i actually really regret getting Archer neutered cuz he would honestly be a great bloodline to breed based on his temperament and health. But at the same time am glad I did because he might be more testy if he still had his nuts, plus wouldn't be able to board him at the only place I trust during vacations and such.

as far as his weight...idk where he keeps it lol. I see other pitties that aren't much smaller looking than him, but then I ask about them and they're always like 40-50lbs. All the pitties I see that are 75-90 lbs looks way more imposing than he does lol. But then I wonder if maybe they're mixed with some staffy or other breeds to make them look more stout, since APBT's are typically more slender/taller

Happy friday bro and great job. I'm a sucker for kitties so I may have kept it. Got 2 cats and a dog at the moment. I have a feeling I may turn into a crazy catbrah later in life (nothing like actual catbrah but I would consider 3).

I took today off mane. Just chilling with the dog, smoking a little something and thinking. 31 this year and it's kind of magical. Slowly starting to let go of immature fears and ready to make some strong moves career/business wise. Been so busy the last month or two and last weekend was pretty action packed. Going to spend today clearing my head, recharging and focusing thoughts on what to do to reach the next level.

I have thought about it a couple times...crushes me inside to face the fact I will one day lose my best bud, but I honestly don't think i'd go more than a month or two before getting another pet. So fukin rewarding and warms the cockles of my heart taking care of an animal that loves me (does not apply to the women in my life as of yet)

We got him through an advocacy group because Ontario is a BSL province, so that was the only way he could be adopted. They likened him to the the English bloodlines they came across. In reality, we can't know for sure unless genetic testing is done, but if I could get another one his size I'd be happy as chit.

Believe me brah, I thought about it. Just too many variables in place that kind of prohibit it. Although i'm glad I could help her out, and I hope her new family is cool and gives her copious amounts of catnip. Yeah brah those fears can paralyze you...i'm in that same boat now. Do I continue, and potentially miss my window, or do I say fuk it, bite the bullet and go for it. I'm leaning towards going for it...Good luck brah, Im sure you'll make the right decision.

That sounds about right...He's probably being waterboarded by some psycho as we speak. I can feel that, it takes time. I'd like to think I would just go out and get a new one, but I may not be ready for that when the time comes.

Happy Friday brah. Can confirm, 30's has been the GOAT decade. When you spend less of your time being immature/frustrated about trivial chit your whole life kind of opens up for you.

Just sitting for a few hours and thinking, maybe writing a few notes down, is amazing. It's like spring cleaning for your brain: all that stuff comes bubbling to the surface where you can look at it and figure out what to do with it.

It's because I can be immature as fuk lol. What can I say, still feel like a teenager at heart sometimes. Mostly when it comes to humor, I just can't let go of the rancid high school humor which is a part of why I love the misc. We all have character flaws right? I can be a little rude and abrasive sometimes.

+30 is pretty great man. I expected to be very sad about not being 22 and partying anymore. But it's not like that at all, it's almost like leveling up in a game, you unlock new skills, gain experience and confidence to take your life to new levels of kicking ass. Brb unlocked "professionalism expert, delegation expert, negotiation lvl 3, 10 years work exp, relationship expert, pussy expert, drinking expert, maturity lvl 3, confidence lvl 3".

Wow bro way to assume all of us "cat people" talk to each other. You need to check your pet privilege. We're people too... CAT people.

ah that's right always forget you're a Canada miscer. Does the fact that you're in a BSL province make it harder owning him? IDK how strict it is but I hear they need to be muzzled in public at all times? Are the people's attitudes reflective of the laws in place? or do people mostly understand that the laws stem from a misguided POV? speaking of old dogs...will see if I can snap a pic of the 17yo italian greyhound that lives at my place. Thing is a borderline rat with an oversized ribcage at this point srs

Nah, she was a neighborhood stray before we "adopted" her. Someone used to have her as a house cat, but abandoned her when they moved. She had been fixed, ect. We fed her and kept her in the garage in the winter. My dad was a true man's man, but he went sappy over her. Bought her a heating pad and a little lamp for her cat house in said garage. Whenever we went out on the porch/anywhere, that silly thing would follow us like a pupper until we sat down. She'd then climb onto your lap and kneed the bejabbers out of your shorts.
In fact, she made this hole in my shorts I'm wearing right now

Thanks man good luck to you. There is no wrong decision for sure, it's just about where to take your life. Classic 1st world problem, having too many choices and they lead to difference flavors of success. Just so hard to decide.

Yea exactly. I'm coming up to my 3rd anniversary on Sunday, have various business opportunities to think about, and of course some personal issues to deal with as well. I just want to be sure when I make decisions and when you're busy with work, home and social life in 2017 it doesn't leave much room to just STFU and think.

His head is blocky...the pics don't do him justice. I'm in Windsor, so for the most part reviews are mixed. A lot of people I come across love pits, and deplore BSL...Hell i've come across Police that roll up on me and want to pet him. Others just smile from a distance. There have been parents of young children introduce them to Moose without issue...If I was in let's say Kitchener, it would be a different story, pits have to be muzzled even if they're inside a car, so only god knows what it's like to walk the streets. I've never muzzled him, and I never will. He's registered through the advocacy group as a Patterdale terrier/Lab mix. So run his chip all you like...that's what you'll get. Chit I walk him off leash and everything...which is weird because he's actually better off leash (unless there is another dog he's interested in of course).
