women earnt the right to vote on their own volition. wrong. they were backed heavily by major financial players and they pushed it through the senate rather than letting the male population (who had just fought in ww1 for their country) vote on it. and immediately after began the first major marketing campaigns targeted solely at women.

Columbus thought the earth was flat.
Civil war was fought over slavery.

The moon landing.
Brb - we don't have a permanent base there over 50 years later.
Brb - no one else has done it again, including the U.S.
It was cold war propaganda.
The "facts" just don't add up.

Watch the Netflix doco "shadow of the moon". It's about all the guys who went. Super interesting. Gene Cernan in particular seemed like a really interesting guy. He punched someone over for saying he didn't go to the moon. Badass 80 year old.

The ones you can't say are lies because if you say it didn't happen, you get thrown in prison.

It's laughable to think that it was done with 1960s technology and isn't commonplace 50+ years later.

We were told 9/11 was planned and executed by Bin Laden and his henchmen
It was all a lie to create a reason to invade the middle East

Care to share with us the real reason for the civil war?
Care to share with us the real reason for the civil war?
Why on earth would a politician, a president no less, allow half the country to secede and than go to war with them. I guess he never heard of diplomacy. the capital of the south was in richmond va, basically across the street from washington. Couldnt dispatch some people over there to work it out?
A very small percentage of southerners owned slaves. 90% of the southern men fought in the war so you have to wonder, who was watching the slaved during the war? What we have been told is they were whipped all the time and beaten and had their achilles tendons cut and this and that but does that really make sense.
It is clear that they were viewed as property but think if you were a rich land owner at that time. If you had a valuable piece of farm equipment, would you treat it poorly to increase production or would you do whatever you could to milk every bit out of it. Do they whip the horse if it doesnt plow enough acres? of course not as that simply not productive.
So we are have slaves that are plucked out of the wilds of africa where their most likely live off the land and are some sort or warriors. Yet when they are here surrounded by pointy farm equipment and all the survival skills needed to live off the land, they chose to stay in place. why? This is mississippi we are talking about, not downtown new york. You can walk around for weeks without ever seeing anther person.
There were incentives for them to stay and work hard. They had a certain hierarchy and goals to attain and there was a measure of profit sharing that most plantations used. So there were real incentives to stay and work hard as they were getting something out if it. not to say it was right or pleasant by any stretch but its not what we were told in school.
