Basically it's just another stimulant that's banned because it's part of the "phetamine" family and has some weird side effects, supposedly.

Well I mentioned this joker who tried to meet me off Armslist on Tuesday, and showed up with a fakeass permit. I knew it was fake but this guy was determined to get a gun, and somebody is going to sell him one. I can see it fooling someone who's not careful.

It reminded me of the time when I sold a Colt Pocketlite many, many years ago in Atlanta at the Gwinnett gun show. A couple years after I moved to Charlotte, and several years after I sold the Colt, I get a call out of the blue from a detective with the Alpharetta Police Dept, asking me all kinds of questions about the gun. He also asked me about a Kimber I had. I always wondered how he got that information.

My guess is that they asked Colt what distributor they shipped the gun to (Adventure Outdoors in Marietta), and somehow went through a lot of paperwork and footwork to track me down. But how did he know I had a Kimber if that wasn't involved in the crime (there was an unrelated Kimber involved in the crime).

That article was from an Australian supplement company and they outlaw all kinds of fun stuff there. But yeah, some kind of stimulant that some reviewers claim gave a euphoric buzz while wearing off. Skeptical of that, but curious enough to try.
I would like to share a story:

Shot a rifle for the 3rd time in my life yesterday.

Tikka T3x, .270 Win, Vortex Viper 6.5x20

Broke her in yesterday, and was hitting a bear size target at 720 yards all day.

1000 yard target is a human silhouette and I ran out of parallax adjustment and couldn't see much. And it was 5 min until closing. And it was offhand because it was my first time on the range and I didn't bring anything to rest it on and my ammo boxes were too slippery. And it kept wandering left and right of the target.

But it was a good day.

The end.

[img]http://i.imgur.com/Ri7qf4j.jpg[mg]
Mirin. Was thinking about picking one of those up for farther distance shooting. Prolly not in .270 tho.

Well, maybe, maybe not. As long as it is cataloged so they know what is where (you know, like the dewey decimal system lol), it will work just fine...a gun shows up somewhere, go to manufacturer with serial number, they give distributor, distributor gives retailer, that retailerler's records are in warehouse D, aisle I, shelf C, box K...flip through to the appropriate year, month, boom there's the 4473 with your name on it (or the name of the guy you bought it from who has your info, or whatever)

I have no idea what shotgun just throwing around some ideas, taking longer to sell than I thought it would. Gen 4 with factory sights, in pretty good condition I'd say. Not sure if a gun shop would do any trade or buying. Everyone wants it but doesn't want to pay! Sheesh might as well keep it and alternate carrying it.

Gun shops will give you a pittance for it. Maybe $250? lol don't rely on selling or trading to a gun shop (trade may be better than selling if it comes to that). Glocks are everywhere, brand new ones are $550 and, well, brand new, unless you get a GSSF coupon or are blue label eligible then a brand new Gen4 with 3 mags is a suggested price of $425. A lot of people want range guns or just get a gun to actually have one just-in-case and DGAF about nights sights OR plan to put a different pair of their favorite sites on anyway. Do you have the tools to take the night sights off, put factory back on, and sell the sights separately?

I'd keep the g19 unless you have another or need a shotgun and a gun shop will provide a nice, smooth, rape of the angus in any trade.

You could easily trade for a quality shotgun. You can buy a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 for somewhere in the $300's in basic configuration and tacticool setups for under $500 brand new, so definitely in the same price range as a Glock.

Love those, beautiful upland guns. However I couldn't pass on the Benelli 828u. I really need some better pics of this thing. Going bird hunting late next month with it.

I used a razor blade to hold the detent down and stuck the takedown pin in. Put a bag over it when I did it in case the pin went flying.
