It varies on the type of training she does and other things. Alphadestiny says a good novice number for a woman would be a 95-135 lbs bench.

Jen Thompson is natty (I met her, and I'm pretty sure she is) and benches 325 at 135. So a lot, if you are built right and train intelligently for strength for 20 years with very few setbacks. My bench is a poverty 175 @ 129. I will fix this. 200 should be doable for strength athletes who train consistently.

I train with a female who is 175lbs fit, she's been lifting seriously for two years and she maxes out on bench at 155lbs. So if she can get close to her body weight I guess that would be an advanced female lifter. Over her body weight would be an elite female lifter or female on gear.

Its just not. I'm natty, 129, I've been working out less than two years, powerlifting about 1, my bench is 175. I started out benching 65 lbs for 3 sets of 5. I might have above average genetics, but probably not. I can't put on muscle to save my life, and my best sport before this was golf. I'm not special, neither is my bench. This chart might be true for people who dabble in fitness but seeing as this thread is about the natural limit, this is not accurate for women who train for strength.

If she is on something, I doubt its an amount that would effect it to the degree that you think it does. She has kids, pretty old ones, and her progress was pretty linear.

Bench 315 lbs
Squat 355 lbs
Dead 510 lbs - will never lift this again :( final destination snap city 26/9/16

I think powerlifters and those who train to powerlift are a different class ..it's why you're hitting elite figures

Sure, but then the question was how much can a natty 140 lb woman bench, not how much can a natty 140 lb woman who doesn't train for strength bench. I don't think a chart dedicated to strength level that doesn't take into account people that train for strength can really be that accurate. It's like making a chart concerning 100 meter times based on times of recreational joggers and other middle to long distance runners.

If you are natty as you say, then you do indeed have superior genetics. Most women cannot even lift half of what you can after training for years.

I'm sure they are included hence the advanced and elite ...But those who train for strength are a small subset of female lifters so their impact in strength tables which are designed for all who lift would be limited

I'm not a powerlifter, have been "fitness" training just over 3 years, 2 of them subject to arm injury and on a 1RM estimate based on reps, I'm advanced on lower lifts and just about intermediate on the upper lifts I do (bench and press)

I think you have impressive strength to be benching 175 after a year ...and if natty you are truly genetically blessed ...I don't know a single real life female who approaches that
