It's actually crazy how popular GoT got, the beeb have more articles on it than most shows I've seen and atm there's an article on critics views of the finale as the 5th most read on the site today

Lyanna casting was good imo but no that Rhaegar one

I think this fanart is the best representation of Rhaegar and it actually kinda looks like the actor but I dont know, just doesn't feel like Rhaegar


Rhaegar was described to be the genius type. genius in fighting and music. I didnt get the same feeling looking at that actor who played Rhaegar. oh well I guess its not that important.

I really hope Reek is put out if his misery trying to rescue his sister. I feel this guy has served his purpose and is living too long on the show. His purpose shouldve been to rescue Sansa and that be the end of his story. Now he is just a tag along character with no real value anymore.

In the US it does maybe but in the Uk and I imagine most other countries in the world, GoT is very far ahead popularity wise. If people in the office don't watch GoT they've at least heard of it.


On another note, just realised Dany didn't mention Jon's scars at all this episode after seeing them ep 6 - we really need some acknowledgement of him coming back from the dead

Pompeii was abysmal and no one gave a fuk about it. Kit is kidding himself if he thinks he's going to leave GoT and suddenly become the next DiCaprio. He just doesn't have that kind of talent.

She asked for his advice after losing Dorne/Highgarden ignoring Tyrion/Varys, went north of the wall to help them despite his pleas and lost a dragon, and she listened to Jon over Jorah by deciding to travel by ship.

Tyrion even alludes to Cersei in the finale that Dany needs him to temper some of her plans down. Not that Jon would encourage her to do anything crazy but all the talk of succession clearly insinuates Tyrion is thinking long term, he's invested in breaking the wheel as they say. Her increasing feelings for Jon may make her do stupid stuff and gives him less control over her actions, and he knows the vision they're trying to create is lost if anything happens to her.
Also on his vision of breaking the wheel. If Dany and Jon have a kid, she might be more inclined to follow family succession/birthright rather than a more democratic way that he was hinting at a couple episodes back. Saw this theory posted somewhere and it made some sense to me.

I think he's worried about romantic involvement between the two of them. The Northerners are extremely stubborn,especiallyregarding Targaryens, and so convincing them to be on board with this alliance will be difficult. If the alliance doesn't go through, then they'll face even more problems against the NK. Romance risks that: the son of Ned Stark (as they still see him) banging the daughter of the Mad King, the latter of which killed two Starks? That has turmoil written all over it.

There's no way. That's not a twist in the show; that's just a glaring inconsistency in the plot. It makes zero sense.
