for sure i would live in the 1950's.

as long as you kept your nose clean you where 100% guaranteed to be successful easy. Banks had super good interest rates with no risk, every industry was growing rapidly, good benefits, cheap prices on everything, good pensions/retirement plans.

i would love to be born in 1940 to a middle class family. that would give you the best life, you get to live thru all the good times.

life on easy mode. thats why like every 95 year old that dies in 2017 still has like $1,000,000 in the bank cuz chit was so good back then.

nowadays we are basically living in chit times with chit people, unless you are making like 350k+

For people saying that life was easy, I think you don't have a fukkin clue.

My grandparents didn't have electricity or indoor plumbing at the time because of dat dere rural living. The both farmed and had other jobs, all while raising my mom and aunts and uncles.

I think it was a better life overall, but it wasn't fukkin easy or simple by any stretch of the imagination. Grandparents went from being tenant farmers to having their own house and land, without help from the government or anyone else.

Not the 1950s - Korean War and later Vietnam.

But according to my Dad, the 80s were amazing. Reagan is President and the country was just developing early game tech knowledge. Renting videos for your VCR, early days of cable TV. People still talked to each other face to face.

These are all great.....the only reason I would rather live in the present is because of the internet and computers. That's really it. I still live a simple life so I'm happy
