Hurricanes existed before cars. It's not 'climate change' it's called weather.
Enter inferior building standards, no satellite, computer models, or modern day emergency disaster response. You left out way too may variable. The people back then never knew what was coming.

Nevertheless, like ordinary rains storms, I do agree that hurricanes are natures way of cleaning the air and maintaining atmospheric balance. More people should consider that.

Palm beach county FL crew. I went and stocked up on cases and cases of water today. I figured I'd be the smart one getting it out of the way. Was shocked to see Walmart sold out of water already.


Not gonna lie, the storm is absolutely beautiful.

Track dipped more south giving it more chance to pass underneath Florida. I dont know what to hope for. I dont want it here but i feel like were more adapted to this than Georgia or S Carolina.

The Gulf of Mexico has been pooling warm water for longer than cars and humans for that matter have been around. That 1 storm doesnt prove anything. Look at the frequency of storms from the 2005/2006 season if you want some warming period data. Storms will get worst with warming waters, may take 100 years, but it will get worst in theory.
