Yea man it's late getting to the U.S. compared to forecasts, because it raked the northern coast of Cuba alll yesterday. Hope it wasn't too bad, I know they don't have the infrastructure or solid buildings we have.

Have a lot of friends in the keys, they all GTFO already.

Keys isn't like mainland Florida. Even IF you're in new construction (lot of old buildings down there) it's low lying small islands with loads of storm surge, and the lone highway in/out means infrastructure is more fragile.

Still on city power. We have a interior closet for the kids to go in if it gets to that, but we're in solid concrete with windows shuttered.

I visited key west 4 times this year already, I'm a regular there, thing about key west is that buildings are over 100 years cannot be torn down by law. So guess what, most of them are old as ****. But if they are well kept they already withstand many hurricanes before.

Key west is literally the American carribian feel. You don't feel anywhere else in USA

Also it's basically legal to smoke weed fthere, if a cop catches u you pay 100 fine.

Love key west, will be going there after this is all over.

North Florida brah. Received 3 inches of rain this morning. Backyard is flooded. Water already coming into the garage.

Had the kids pack up a bag of their belongings. Going to volunteer at a local shelter and hope for the best for our house.
