It's not an either/or thing. Just because he has a mental illness doesn't mean that he isn't a piece of chit. There are a lot more mentally ill people who don't commit any crimes than the other way around.

What's the common thread then among these people? That they're pieces of chit, not that they're mentally ill. Studies have also shown that mental illness tends to get overblown when it comes to explaining mass killings. The majority of these people are fully aware of what they're doing.

WHENEVER someone murders their own family members, it's fair to assume "mental health" will be everyone's main assumption, regardless of their race.
