Congaree swamp in SC is a wilderness swamp type deal that you can paddle. This is the only place I've ever been "lost" because there's no elevation and everything looks identical in all directions. I've seen a gang of river otters there though which is cool. Super fun 2-day paddle with back country camping.

When the economy got chitty in the states it got REAL bad for those in the arts. I found out why the term "starving artist" was a thing. Had to make a career change and never got back into it. I freelance on occasion still though. To show how crazy the economy got in this area, I had a few real estate clients. This house was on sale for 6.2 million...



They dropped it to 2.5 million when the economy went into the crapper. That's a two page magazine spread I did. I didn't take that pic but I had to chop it heavily. Those also aren't just floating heads. I removed the names and contact info. Here's another.

oh nice! i was thinking of going to congaree for hiking but i have other reasons to go to SC. there is this girl i know that lives by there that i like. i just don't know how i feel about long distance relationships.

IN. Happy Friday Brahs.

My hotel got #rekt by Hurricane Irma - now we aren't opening until NOVEMBER. We are all just sitting around collecting a paycheck, it's stupid.

Spent the morning listening to music and eating baked goods with coffee. Going to read on my Kindle this afternoon. It's easy living but having literally fukkall to do gets OLD and you leave feeling no sense of accomplishment. All good though, plenty of people have bigger problems.

gonna take the pupper for a walk after work today, then head out to get yucky with the boys. Was supposed to go to a music festival this weekend, but that isn't happening anymore so prob just gonna keep it tame. gym, driving range, wash car, hit the hikes, and most importantly, LDAR

It's ok to walk thru but it's all on boardwalk and it's kinda limited. I have no opinion on dating a chick in Columbia long distance. Me and some buddies followed this trib until it petered out to nothing and reckoned we were off the main channel, so we sent a scout to the east to find it. Also the water elevation sees extreme fluctuations, so you are either paddle in a little creek or water is legit everywhere.

problem is its really long distance im in minneapolis minnesota and she is in columbia south carolina. i would take her hiking there though.

only reason i don't like them is because my sister practiced on me when she was in nursing school.

Didn't lift then, was skinny as a twig, and she could never find a vein. Every time I get shots/whatnot now, I pump myself up like I'm going for a 26 mile run, go in and close my eyes till its over

thanks man, that's the plan. doin my best to stay busy. may possibly go shooting with fellow miscer weightsb4dates on Sunday, still up in the air so we'll see. May go to an indoor range anyway if that falls through.
