Seriously, if I were married, and my wife gave her life to save me, I would try to remain a single widow forever out of respect for her love. This doesn't make biological sense though. I always read those stories of the wife becoming tragically disfigured or paralyzed and the husband always sticking by her side for life. Yet I also hear stories of women leaving their husband just because he lost his job or had his small business go under.
