So the husband dove on top of his wife and boulders crushed them. But the wife lived? I don't understand how this works. What am I missing here?

My grandfather lost his wife too and never re-married for 30yrs. He would always say "bless her heart" when he said her name.

Meanwhile I've seen women instantly ensuring they get the inheritance, visiting lawyers and find a new guy ASAP.

Seriously, if I were married, and my wife gave her life to save me, I would try to remain a single widow forever out of respect for her love. This doesn't make biological sense though. I'd expect the same from her, but we all know real life doesn't work that way. The chitty women would replace you within a month, and the better ones might even wait a few years, but eventually you WILL be replaced. Most people have no honor anymore, and what is honor anyway? It makes no sense to remain a widow if you never had kids. I'd like to think I'd stay strong, but the truth is, I'd do what every other lifeform on this planet does and pursue replication.

The only time it is biologically ok for you to give your life for a girl is if she has already had your kids. Let's be honest, most kids love and need mommy more than daddy. It is also ok for you to give your life for your children, since that also makes biological sense.

We love to glorify heroes, but if you die a hero without passing your genes on, you're a cuck. I used to believe in being altruistic and good and selfless, and then I realized it makes no logical sense to do so. Social morality promotes this because the selfish Chads who never sacrificed anything for anyone would gladly encourage you to trade your life for their benefit. Same chit where old ******* rich politicians send brave young men off to die, while douchebags phuck their wives and gfs.

Look at most of our recent presidents. Never served a day in their life, but they are all hawkish. All were rich or successful Chads (or Tyrones) growing up. Meanwhile they mock someone like Sen McCain who actually phucking sacrificed something for this country. Dude can't raise his hands above his head because of torture.

Don't be a cuck. Live rationally and selfishly. Social morality is bullchit. You only get one life, and you have to make it count. You are here for only one reason and that's to pass on your genes, and make sure your offspring pass on their genes. Everything else is an abstraction that tries to mask away the harsh reality of what it means to be a lifeform.

Selfish crew.
Wincel get's it. A fertile straight male in this world is to fkin pass on his genes which been goin on from the beginning no questions asked cuzz if you don't then you have failed evolution which is the only real thing we know. Nothing else makes true sense like reproducing at least one healthy offspring and fulfill your role as a man. All this love, sacrifice, martyr, suicide and all the other bullchit is pointless if you don't pass on your genes.

That said rip to the brave and honorable man for protecting his wife. Everyone dies and gets buried/becomes ash. Just hope he has a kid before signing out of consciousness.

I would never sacrifice my life for a woman unless she's my daughter.

When I'm in love it goes to extreme levels but come on , why would sacrifice yourself only for her to mourn you a few months before beginning a new life with another man ?

Looks like I'd have to do the honorable thing and let her die, so she doesn't have to live on without me.

I don't find this troll honourable, it is sad and disrespectful of life. Someone who loves you will not want you to disappear, they want you to live, and respect their memory while you make the best life possible.

I don't know why people are getting so upset in this thread. Of course she is going to move on. Women are biologically wired this way. It was a survival mechanism from the tribal days where constant war/kidnapping meant sexual slavery was a common thing.

Women are biologically programmed to latch onto a new man immediately after their previous one died/got killed. If you know the science behind it, you become less rustled at reality.

Yup, men would never find another woman if their wife was to pass. Jacking off does me just fine, and it's all to my imagination of my wife. Sometimes I even spice things up by spreading rose pedals around the bed and lighting some scented candles

I always read those stories of the wife becoming tragically disfigured or paralyzed and the husband always sticking by her side for life. Yet I also hear stories of women leaving their husband just because he lost his job or had his small business go under.

I don't want to draw any conclusions from anecdotal evidence but it is pretty damning.

An example is that marine who was disfigured during the Iraq war and his wife left him in a heartbeat. The dude basically drank himself to death.

Just why...eventually she's going to get bored and fuk around with other dudes once the shock starts to fade. She'll tell everyone how he's always in her mind and light candles in his name but her biological clock is ticking and soon enough she'll want to settle and have a family with another man. This guy is literally a cuck for other people's genetics being passed down. I hope for his sake they at least had children so it wasn't completely worthless.

Yup it sucks. Wife passed before we had kids, not spreading my genes with another woman. Tours over, but hey, that's life.

yes ^

chivalry is a two way bond, it's not just about a man opening doors, sacrificing his time, his life or just his fkn jacket so ma lady can walk on it across a dirty puddle

the man is expecting a life partner in return, a female who will raise their child while he is out hunting buffalo or brokering stock deals or wtvr, but in the end he just gets cucked ending up in court fighting for child custody and their home

so chivalry is ded
^ this is a long thin black line

If I died and my wife moved on, I wouldn't give two ****s?

Why?

Because I'm ****ing dead. Better that she move on rather than sulk about my absence.

When did this place become so toxic? Man saves wife and the first thing that comes to mind is her finding someone else? I doubt finding another man is on her mind.

The sad thing is,a woman would NEVER in a million years do the same thing for you brahs. Why should men continue to be disposable for women??
