Was going through almost exactly the same thing a couple months ago OP.
- Anxiety attack, feeling like I'm on the verge of passing out, extreme brain fog, fatigue.
I also had a wicked sinus infection that still wasn't clearing up after three rounds of antibiotics and a steroid.
I stopped drinking caffeine because it seemed that was causing the anxiety.
Dr also sent me for 5 hour glucose tolerance test and it came back saying I was hypoglycemic. My fasting levels are fine, but 1-2 hours after a meal my blood sugar drops pretty low before recovering.
I have almost recovered 100% since then, but I still don't drink caffeine because I fear another episode like that.
Hang in there brah, I felt like chit for a few weeks and it felt like it would never end. Constant brain fog was the worst.

Edit: Even got MRI of brain. That came back fine thankfully.

Sounds like depersonalization/derealization induced by Panic attacks. Very common. Basically your brain puts you in this mode due to massive amounts of stress.

Check out the book "At last a life" by Paul David. Basically you need to accept the feelings, try not to be bothered by it and STOP OBSESSION AND RESEARCHING IT. Trust me it goes away.

Add to the fact that this all started happening after he got a panic attack on red bull. I sometimes start to get that panic attack/not real feeling when I am in a "medicated" state. If you acknowledge that it's just a panic attack then it is easier to make it go away.

there are basically two kinds of sleep apnea, airway obstructive (think of your tongue falling back into your throat) and central sleep apnea, which is your brain not sending correct signals for your body to breath. it doesnt come out of nowhere and usually develops over time. you dont need to be a snorer to have sleep apnea, especially if you have central sleep apnea. ask a gf or family if they've noticed anything different when you sleep. for me, in addition to my snoring, there were times where i would wake up gasping for air. i am always tired; even after waking up in the morning. i drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks just to maintain focus. there are times that i have to spend my lunch breaks in my car so i can catch some sleep so i can stay functioning. going to sleep isnt the problem though; staying alseep and getting quality sleep is my issue.

the only way to be certain is to get a sleep study done. i'm actually getting one tomorrow night and have a follow up appointment the next morning on my results.

watch this report on sleep apnea.

Not sure about the blood test thing, but how far over the normal range are they?

I know how frustrating it is when your body is showing physical symptoms due to stress and you think it's because you have a disorder. I used to get my medical records printed off after a blood test and Google the result ranges thinking doctors had missed something (lol) finally I accepted that it was stress and nothing was wrong.

Now I have only been sick a few times since I was 19
I never get sick, I haven't been to the doctor in 10 years if we ignore the last 2 months.

They're only a little higher than normal, I think 11.1 and 10.6 were the last ones

If this is truly psycho****tic, then I am fuking mind blown at the effect stress can have on you. Literally, fuking unbeliavable for me.

I went from 4 cups of coffee a day to 0, no difference. It's been 2 months since I had coffee.

So you had reactive hypoglycemia? How'd you get rid of it, just curious. I doubt I have it because I don't get trembly or feel like passing out after I eat, I just get foggy af

I had depersonalization before so I know that feel, this is depersonalization but with a bunch of other symptoms on top. I'm not even bothered by the depersonalization srs, but thanks, I'll check the book out

Difficult to say whether the origin is an infection that's lingering around or perhaps your nervous system is extremely hyperactive for other reasons

However your symptoms are 100% caused by neuroimflammation that much is obvious I'm just not sure of the origin

Anything with anti inflammatory effects ought to help a few things that come to mind are nsaids, acetylcholine supplements(alpha gpc is the best) and intermittent fasting (ded srs)

You're not imagining the symptoms but I highly doubt they are being caused by a serious disorder, your overly stressful job probably had all kinds of nasty effects on your sympathetic nervous system which triggered the panic attacks and the inflammatory response that has set all of your other symptoms into motion

Not to mention your were predisposed to various stress induced nervous system issues to begin with since you mentioned that you used to get panic attacks

All your symptoms are very common of high/stress anxiety. If you've done 10 blood tests and doctor thinks nothing is wrong except a bit of elevation in your white blood cell count then nothing is wrong. The sore throat and fatigue is easily explained by high stress. You're body is in overdrive and pumping adrenaline so naturally you will feel low energy. Stress also taxes the immune system leaving you more prone to infections and colds.

First step is to accept nothing is wrong with you and just continue about your day as normal.
Cleaning up your diet, sleeping schedule and getting exercise will help in general.
Maybe consider taking some medication.

I seriously doubt that I am imagining these symptoms.

It's also showing up in my blood tests, my white blood cells have been elevated above the normal range for 2 months now, and my tonsills are inflamed 24/7
High white blood cell count + inflamed nodes = be careful about a type of lymphoma

I was told i had pnuemonia, literally went on azithromycin, vancomycin, penicillin, amoxicillin, levofloxicin, augmentin, ceftriaxone, and doxycycline.

What i really had was lymphoma in my lungs.

btw, my brother had some of the same symptoms as you. An MRI/Ct Scan found a small cyst in his brain.

How bad can psycho****tic symptoms get?
Bro. It is 100% Anxiety. When your body is pumping with Adrenaline non stop it does some crazy **** to your body.

I bet you are the kind of person that researches everything extensively, that obsesses over things nonstop, you are more likely very smart as well. Trust me, it is all from Anxiety, the Derealization, brain fog , fatigue, low mood/mood swings, all of it.

Check out that book for sure man and make the choice to accept it. When your brain is constantly in this anxious state your mind does not think rationally. I bet your memory is affected big time as well right?

I know you want to keep researching until you find this miracle cure or even miracle diagnosis (so at least you know what it is) but im telling you man, it is 100% Anxiety and comes from you obsessing over it.

You are in a Sensitized state and instead of you letting your mind rest and fix it, you are basically telling your mind that yes this is a huge problem and you need to keep me in fight/flight to keep me safe. Its the same as a broken arm, do you prod and push the bone to see if it is healed yet? Of course not, so why do it with your mind.

Right when you accept it is Anxiety you will start to feel better.

Bro I went through all of it, had hundreds of different Vitamins, books, everything. It is all caused by you dwelling on it and obsessing about it. I know it sucks man, its hell, but right when you stop the fight and accept you will start getting better.

Again, check out the book I recommended. Your nervous system is trying to tell you something in the only way it knows how, by activating, once you accept the anxiety and go on with your day you will start to break the habit.

Quoting op-
Panic attacks don't even scare me that much because I've gotten used to them over the years. What do you mean by "medicated"?

Op I meant medicated as in *whispers* ..."what the cops don't like you doing and mods will ban you for talking about here" stuff.

But anytime I used to get stressed I would do exactly as how you are doing and people would tell me it was stress, just like we are telling you that it's anxiety/stress, but I didn't believe them.

Seriously you will just continue this cycle until you quit googling, get off webMD, quit entertaining the thought of it being lymphoma, sleep apnea or whatever...

NOTHING is wrong. Repeat that in your head every time you start feeling sick/I'll/weird.

It's a relief to read this stuff, I really hope it's just because of stress, then I know how to handle it. It's fuking weird though, if this does end up being caused by stress, I will respect stress for the rest of my life lmao.

Well chit, now you're sending my hypochondria into overdrive. Notsrs, but I should probably get some scans to get the lymphomas and cysts outta the way.

I am the type to research everything extensively, actually the second panic attack I had, I felt like I was gonna pass out, and for some reason I forgot that I used to have panic attacks so I started googling. Was convinced I had diabetes for at least a month.

Yes, I do have memory loss. The memories aren't exactly lost though, more like memory fog, it's hard to remember some things because it's hard to focus.

Thanks for the advice brah, will definitely check out the book

I don't know, while I was working I basically didn't leave my office for 14 hours a day, and the rest of the day was spent at home, so unless I have ticks in my house... Also I haven't had a real fever yet, I have no joint pain, my neck isn't stiff (just feels weak at times).
The memory issues is because of "State Specific Memory" basically it is much much harder to recall events that you had when you were "normal" but it is very easy to recall events that you had during other times in this heightened state. This is why it become so hopeless, because your mind thinks it is going to be forever.

I know you want to think it is something major, it is very hard to fight as you are in this fight/flight mode for tons of the day and your mind is basically scanning for threats, but it isn't bro.

Best way through it is to accept "Ok fine if im going to panic or die or sleep forever **** it, it is what it is" give up the fight and resistance, its sounds dumb but once it clicks I promise you man you will get even better then you were before this started.

Man I hope you are trolling because if not you have it worse than I did (and mine was bad) trust us, stress can cause all kinds of stuff.
Sleep paralysis is one of the scariest things that can happen to you (imo) it's when you're pretty much having a panic attack in your sleep and so your body is paralyzed, but your mind is "awake"
You can't move and it feels like you can't breathe and you've legit been either possessed or abducted by aliens or having an out of body experience.

All because of STRESS

O chit this sounds like what I went through, mostly. Get an allergy blood test. I found out that I developed a severe gluten "sensitivity" and am mildly allergic to dairy. If I eat gluten I get extremely bad brain fog and get tired all of the time. I feel so much better in so many ways when I am not eating gluten or dairy. Sometimes I start slowly slipping and dont notice my brain fog is getting worse and worse and then im all mesed up until I go totally gluten free. I don't have all of your symptoms but a lot of them so I'd get your allergy test done. My symptoms are more brain fog, extremely tired, anxiety, bloating, inflammation

A few things to keep in mind. Food allergies are kind of new i the medical community and not many doctors are smart about them because the situation was very different when they were in medical school so a lot of this chit goes undiagnosed and doctors just aren't smart on the topic. I hate the idea of holistic practicioners but the reality is they are more on the cutting edge of the topic but keep in mind that they may have a ton of beliefs and practices that arent really effective but some of them may be. It's definitely worht a shot. I know a ton of people who have had amazing success.

We've established you have anxiety issues. That's where you should start.

Anxiety can cause those symptoms. Stress can exacerbate anxiety. Anxiety can dip into depression. Derealization can be brought on by bad anxiety for a period of time. I've been there. However, a million things can cause those symptoms.

What kind of doctors are you going to that simply say "you have an infection" and don't actually tell you what it is?

when you wake up in the morning, pour a bottle of corona extra on your face. Stimulates the cells in the face to divide and makes you feel more awake.

I am pretty certain all of your symptoms stem from your mental health. Panic attacks are usually associated with constant high levels of anxiety/depression. The range of symptoms anxiety causes is farkn insane, and ranges from IBS and headaches to extreme fatigue.

Take it slow, download the app headspace and use it daily, do any forms of daily exercise even if it's a brisk walk after work. The more relaxed you are, the less unnecessary energy you will be using. This will help with the tiredness.

Stay positive brahs!

Maybe give nootropics a shot? But the first thing you should do is get your anxiety under control. Meditation helps a lot.

search up on keto diet. took my brain fog away and i alternate between carb days and keto days now that my body has adapted to efficiently switching back and forth from energy sources. i am also gluten sensitive. if you decide to go on keto make sure to stay on for at least 3-5 months since body is not adapted to using keto bodies as fuel.

ketosis and intermittent fasting for brain related problems and digestive problems.
