Gentlemen, and ladies, it's that time again. The best day of the week is upon us, and it's time to unwind, kick back, and recharge for the week ahead. Since i'm still in recovery i'm just going to chill at home drinking hot toddies, and watching movies in prep for a big week ahead. What are you guys up to? Whatever it is, have fun, be safe, and as usual kick a couple back for ya boy.

So today's question is. If you had 10k to spend on a vacation, what would you do? Where would you go? Would you backpack through Europe? Roadtrip the USA? Hit SE asia? Take an Eco tour of Central America?

If I had 10k for a vacation I would go through Europe. To me that's the vacation that is only worth it. I've been to plenty of places and stayed at hotels but my best vacation was going to Boston and just walking around, went to places and talked to them. Sounds basic but it's fun just to take in a place and experience everything it has to offer. I would like to do this in Europe.

Europe has so much to offer, you can literally go to any country and find yourself lost in the culture. It's so funny, you have all these countries in close proximity and they can be similar or totally different.

I think Redwoods are only in California, and Oregon I think...Could be wrong. BC would be great for skiing though. It will be lekker if I wake up on Monday feeling 100% Bl00dy. You too brah...be safe and have a good one.

Well my Friday started around 4am when I woke up to one of my doggos dry heaving. Trying to throw up but nothing came out. Happened again an hour later. Hit up my boss and I'm working from home today to keep an eye on him. Dude is part goat and eats anything so no telling whats floating around in his belly. Off work around noon and I plan to take the mutts for a walk, hopefully in the woods but with all the rain its probably a muddy mess. Get in a lift this afternoon, lower body day. Watch some playoff baseball and do some homework. Probably run into some beer too at some point.

10k for a vacation? road trip. Me, wifey, dogs, hit up cool spots all over the country. Do it on the cheap that way you could go for a month or 2. That would be awesome.

I was just watching Parts Unknown and Anthony was in the French Alps. He did some skiing on the french side, went over to the Italian side for a bit, and basically all he did was Ski, drink expensive wine, and eat like a king.

I was in the Maldives last week snorkeling a few feet from whale sharks. Good times with good friends and it was a MUCH needed recharge of my batteries. This weekend will be low key. Main chick is coming over tonight for a 2 day fukfest which should be good. She sucks me while I play video games when I ask heh

I hope it's nothing and your pupper is ok. Srsly. Sounds like you've got a lot planned, hope it goes smoothly brah. A road trip especially in something like conversion van/camper van would be awesome. Camp out at different sites just taking it all in at your leisure. The puppers would love it too...brb taking a new trip every day.

In on Friday thread! Birthday is Sunday so won't be a 47 year old ******* anymore, I'll be a 48 year old *******. Gonna celebrate all weekend with family and friends and hope my Huskers beat the Buckeyes tomorrow night but that won't happen. Happy Friday all!!

I would go to Ireland and tour the breweries and distilleries and talk to pale chicks with that 10k.

Cutting out early today, can't wait. Never been skydiving but damn they look low to me for not having the chute open, but what do I know?

I'd head to Europe to see the sights or the Caribbean and live that island life for awhile.

Thanks brah! Me too. No kid crew so my dogs are my kids crew. That's what I'm thinking...spend a few days here, few days there, hit the road, tour the country. Neither my wife or I are big on the extravagant vacations. Closest thing we do to a vacation is taking the train into Chicago every year the week before Christmas and spend 3 nights there. Instead of getting each other gifts we just go shopping for ourselves. Nice relaxing trip but it's always cold as balls out.
