What's y'all favorite Magpul stock? I got a chance to get 25% off on parts and I'm thinking of buying the ACS perhaps? But the MOE SL-S is here also..

So I tried the CMMG .22 conversion kit w/25rd mag (SS Bravo) I got for $145 free ship (Brownells has it for $130 free ship with code). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. A couple drops of lube on the bolt rail and spring, and as fast as I could pull the trigger, it went bam! Put around 250rds of .22 through it.
Shot it through my wife's ar (16" 1:7). All combat effective rounds on target. Standing, about a 3"- 4" @ 25 yards. I didn't want to mess with the rds adjustments as I just sighted it for .223
With that, I'm extremely tempted to build a super budget 10.5" pistol around the .22lr conversion kit. I can get the price close to a M&P 15-22 (LGS price). Then if I ever wanted to, put a regular ar bcg in. Something I could not do with a dedicated .22 like the 15-22.
Also, if anyone was ever interested in a cheap brass catcher, the Caldwell brass catcher worked flawlessly. No jams, caught every round, and no melting of the net from hot brass.
https://www.amazon.com/Caldwell-1222...ct_top?ie=UTF8
Got it on sale for $10, so the price fluctuates.

Relent I’ve seen an actual bench test, with something clamping down the gun. The shot grouping st same yardage was definitely tighter with the gen 5.
I feel like you’re really disappointed with the changes in the gen 5, which is why you’re putting it down.
Can’t f*cking wait until I get a phone call going, Mr. Wakaaa your GLAWK GEN 5 is ready for your hands

So, I found out today that the office has "loaners" for all of their scopes, binos, and spotters. Going to take out a set of Binoculars this weekend with the FIL in town, probably another set the following weekend, and see about taking out a 6-24x56 Kahles after that since I'll actually be able to take it shooting.

I’m simply stating what we found in our crappy, non scientific testing as well as what I’ve seen numerous people who own all three gens say. I’ve shot 4 Gen 5’s now for a total of probably about 900-1k rounds through them combined. 3 19’s and a 17. Just not impressive to me. Maybe it’s because I just don’t GAF about Glocks much at all regardless of Gen these days. But back to back with Gen 4’s...the “improvements” are negligible at best to me. Buy what you want, it’s your money. There’s not nearly enough “improvement” for me to want to own a gun that doesn’t have the parts availability that previous gens have had for years and years now. Not when I’ve got enough spare parts laying around to literally build another 2 or 3 Glocks if I had frames for them.

Professional heads up:
Tighten your rings on your scope to whatever the manufacturer's specs for your rings are.
