Or will their wallets be open sooner and we can get Eth and Btc into them prior to the ICO and then just exchange for ethconnect when the ICO open.


Then bail before you get too greedy and ethconnect runs off with our $$?

I'm considering putting in like $100 as well, but why does there need to be a mad dash at 6pm if we are signed up before hand?

How long do we wait to see gainz and then poof our money is gone?

So lets say you're lucky enough to buy a few. Does the value of the coin continue to rise as fewer and fewer are available? Or does it hold steady at $.5? And once sold out the traded value starts to rise..or sink?

So I posted my mining rig in CL and got 2 offers right now for $1000. One guy can pay me what I'm asking for in crypto coins.

I posted it for $1500 a month ago but cancelled it when ETH went back up to $350. Thought I'll continue mining since the lowering of difficulty but ETH went back down to <$300. Then I reposted it for $1200 and got the above offers.

I know the offers are good enough since I have used this GPUs (2x R9 295X2) since August of 2015 and only bought them for $550 each new. And a new RX580 is only about $260 now. My cards' hashrate is about 12mh/s higher than 4x RX580 or 4x GTX1070 but with higher power consumption. So $1000 is really not bad if only for the cards since they are used. Apart from the card, I spent about $500 for the rest of the parts.

Since I started in May, I mined at least about 6-7 ethereum and paid $660 in electricity just for mining so I basically recovered majority of the cost I spent for the rig if I'll price each eth for $300.

Still thinking if I'll accept one of the offers since I'm not sure if I really wanna quit mining. But eth is going to switch later on to PoS anyway and I haven't really explored other mining options. I thought I'll just buy coins instead of spending it on power bills. I have to decide by tomorrow. I'm currently 80% sure I'll sell. I guess I'm just looking for opinions from other miners.

ETH Connect Roadmap is very ambitious.

By July 2018, they are estimating each ECh token to be worth $150 USD?

I think Ill try and get in on the ICO but I really have no idea what I'm getting myself into.

Is the consensus to get in and leave it in there for the term and reinvest capital or sell at a certain point to take all the profits (if any)?

It's basically Bitconnect 2.0 Look at Bitconnect's gains on CMC. People are making mad money from this bullsh!t. No way I'm letting the possibility of 50x gains pass by because I'm too scared to lose a couple hundred.

The biggest issue for me is that they lock up tokens till 20 December. So they'll basically be playing around with our money whilst we sit with our dicks in our hands,who knows.

I'm planning on pulling out my initial investment and some at 20x or higher then just ride the wave to wherever it goes. Or we could all just go fuk ourselves after we willing gave our money away for nothing Lmao


EDIT: GOAT said he's putting in 8 ETH if I remember correctly. Not sure if he was drunk when he typed that or he's a huge whale on meth

Only thing dissuading me from ethconnect is their announcement thread on bitcointalk.

With bitconnect OP, they posted frequently and actually had bounties etc.

Ethconnect, only 3 posts... really no interaction with the public.
+fake founders, fake location, etc.
Just way shadier than bitconnect

Ignore the roadmap it's just full of bull**** to gain investors to their ponzi scheme.

My strategy: Buy the coin, withdraw it from their platform as quickly as I can, hold for a month or so on some other exchange/wallet or whatever, and then sell.

I think it'll be a little quicker than 20th December as ICO should sell out almost instantly.

I'll be putting around that amount depends what other new research I can find, as long I can find more supporting evidence of it not being an exit scam I would be more confident putting larger amounts in.

Yeah I don't know what I'm looking at.

I just dumped my OMG 2 seconds ago at a BTC profit so Ive got nothing to complain about. Maybe I will dive back in closer to the fork and hope it recovers back close to double digits USD.

Maybe a quick reaction sell to a lackluster announcement, but IDGAF.

Would rather hold those funds in BTC for now.

may risk .3-.6 eth on this, but you will need to have the misc's back on this and tell us when you are getting out so we can eject too.

With MEW you need to back up your wallet json file, with ****** you need to back up your seed words and with either, depending on how random you go, your password/pin number. HW wallets are much more convenient/secure for sending/signing transactions, but if you just plan to hold through all the ups and downs then I can't see what's wrong with just a paper wallet provided you generated it on an offline pc using Linux on a USB stick or some similar secure setup.
