I work Swing Shift (16:30-01:00) I'm as much of a morning person as the next guy but i'm not waking at 4am

My job is a 10 minute walk from my apartment I don't need to take a train or any kind of public transportation and even if my job was far away I still wouldn't because public transportation is incredibly inefficient in the midwest.

I don't have time to go through a book per week because that is time I need to spend on studying for classes.

Idk why all these try had crap always shout for 4:30am. Most successful people I know tend to wake up at 6-6:30. Takes them maximum 45 minutes to be out the house getting on with work etc. My dad used to be up at 6, and would stretch and do some exercise for 15 minutes. Get showered and ready, then take coffee on his way to work by 7 at the latest. My mom is out the house by 7am on her work days. This 4:30 am crap is garbage

LOL that routine will guarantee he gets a lot of nothing done: His "workout", "meditation", "listening to books at 3x speed" - I guarantee he does all of these things very, very subpar. I would also like to add that his job looks ridiculously easy. There are some great examples of really worthwhile morning routines but this most certainly is not one. The only people who think this routine is any good are very naive and clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

Cliffs
-Wakes up every day at 4:30am
-Works Out
-Meditates
-Showers/Get Dressed
-Plugs in headphones and listen to audiobooks at 3x playback speed
-Gets through a book per week
-Commutes by train, uses app to minize wait on platform. Arrives seconds earlier
-In the office by 7am, walks 4-5 miles while at work before 9:45am

The rest is variable. Feel free to post your own morning routines and critique others. I would like to make this a self improvement brah thread
I do almost everything except listen to audio books.

Morning routines are great for all of one week until it inevitably and invariably falls apart. And one week is generous.

It's not sustainable. Not for Mark Cuban and sure as hell not for the average guy. Unless you're a freak of nature like Elon Musk who can stick to rigid routines and are in constant beast mood, the average human dude cannot help but feel like a lethargic chronic fatigue patient on a random Tuesday morning and decide that instead of meditating that one morning, he'll be better served by doing a 30-minute morning wank before heading off to work.

The 4:30 AM is clickbait, attracting mindless zombies to click it and go "wow I'm going to make a change in my life" before moving onto the next buzzfeed article they come across, changing absolutely nothing about themselves.
