On another note whoever is in on salt shill me on it. Any good articles to read would be appreciated. I know it's a lending platform so I generally try and stay away from those as ethconnect is my only gamble with a scam right now but I always like to keep my options open and lending coins are huge right now. Yes I know their a scam but if there's money to be made before they run sign me up.
SALT is a Clif High pick. Crypto peer to peer lending can work, just not on the same ways Bit/Eth Connect works.

Anyone here not constantly moving and trading coins? I'm thinking of just splitting $2,000 between Bitcoin, Ether, Neo, LTC, (any alts where there is potential to turn pennies to $) and then just hodl and see where it takes me.

I also put $200 a month into RRSP. But I'm considering dropping that and taking that 200 and keep throwing it into crypto. My RRSP isn't doing Jack ****.

Salt seems very intriguing. Time to get on the ship.

Sounds good to me. BTC, ETH, LTC, DASH alone would be great. Choose just one sh*tcoin you feel good about to put the rest in, no point in holding sh*tcoin.

btc was in the 2k to 3k region when it announced the bitcoin cash fork

thats when people in alts jumped to btc for "Free coins"

then they had another fork. bitcoin gold where people jumped back into btc

meanwhile killing alts

after the bitcoin gold fork was supposed to be s2x. where they announced the futures trades and capitalized on the media from the aforementioned forks for "Reaching ath's" despite doing jack chit..

in fact, SPLITTING, as in a negative from development turmoil

cancelled the 3rd fork too. where people had jumped in for free coins. but im guessing after it ran up so large from its previous high. they just stayed in btc

Forks are failing hard, they just turn BTC into a sh*tcoin. Just look at Bitcoin Gold, run by total incompetents, even Coinbase shut them down. Turns out they were right because their own official Wallet was infected with some next level russian malware right under the devs noses. Even security researchers can't figure out what the **** it is.

The "free coin" people contributed to the surge but now that it's come so far falling 500% to 2K is a near impossibility and if it does crash that hard it's taking everything else including ETH with it. DASH would probably be the only survivor.

exactly. and why does "btc splitting" increase "confidence" in btc?

clearly if btc is splitting so much it's having problems

so then why do people jump into btc because of the forks?

for free coins

The problem is Satoshi handed the keys to a bunch of retards who can't decide democratically on what to do next to evolve bitcoin. Don't fork ****, just change the coin itself with small improvements like Segwit/ASIC resistant mining etc.

Would lol so hard if BTC went ASIC resistant. Half the farms in Asia would sh*t themselves.

I might be biased, but I genuinely think both Kyber and Stratis are kinda sleeping giants right now and will significantly pump by ealy-2018.

Although I'm more convinced by Kyber due to it's team.

i know for a fact its movement for bitcoin gold was from 4 to 6k. i was in btc at 4600 and rode it to 6100 before the 2nd fork was supposed to come. then it consolidates a little bit and they announced their futures stuff

then it started taking off before the s2x fork. a week before it they cancel. 6 to 8k. 2 forks in the mirror the investors at 2k dont give a chit because theyve now 4x'ed. the btg investors 2x'ed. gap is now btc compared to alts that are dead and still bleeding. even if btc drops its going to kill alts, so stay in btc

im not saying this wont grow in any term, but i think it will be shaken out at some point.

so, yes, i believe its movement from 2 to 8k was the forks. during the middle of this they capitalized on it and announced the futures stuff

Agreed. I don't see it going that low barring some kind of disaster or 10s flash crash.

At first I was like "wtf DASH"... but look at it now, right? For reasons he named or not, the price is up like crazy.

I'm not as interested in his picks as I was say in September, just because I think it's gone a little too "mainstream", but I will still stay tuned to see what he says.

Too many people waiting on his picks now for a 5 minute flash pump it kind of fuks it up IMO. I want to hear about underrated/sleeper coins and why they have strong potential value in his mind not just get into a quick pump and dump.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Everything he picked is doing well. DASH although had a huge pump and dump initially, DASH is killing it now. He also picked EOS at .00023 sats and even with BTC climbing as much as it has, EOS is still up to .00028 sats.

Even if you got dumped on at DASH's ATH during the pump you would still be back at the same SAT level and up $ value.

There was a lot of FUD on reddit months ago about pre-mining and how scammy the founders were so I never even bothered with DASH.
