I’ve noticed the price of Basil Hayden has been going up.

Been sipping Buffalo Trace at my in-laws all weekend. I don't know guys, I know people love BT but I think it's just very ordinary. Nothing special about it really other than being cheap and available at any store.
Just picked up a cheapie @ $28.99. Wow is this stuff tasty, at least from my small sample test.
[img]https://i.imgur.com/XIk9m5v.jp/img]
Actually looks pretty fancy sloop. Never saw that one before in my part of town.
Uncle gave me this since he doesn’t do whiskey. Any good?

Fiancee went to Michael's and I told her to drop me off at Total Wine since I would have more fun there.
Picked up some McKenna 10 Bottled-in-Bond. This is an amazing buy for $28, and the best bang for your buck in bourbon, imo.
And a bottle of random scotch I've never seen or heard of. It was cheap so I figured why not.

Every now and then I'll just pick something up on the fly. If I'm surprised by it then that's great. If I don't care for it, well I didn't spend that much anyway.

Have you guys ever tried this Pikes Creek? Im intrigued by this port barrel finish if it's similar to Angel's Envy.

Is Old Crow a decent, cheap bourbon?
