All of these children share something in common. Can you guess what it is?

BTW, this is only a partial list of 2017 victims. The complete, but still growing, list can be found here.

LOL @ pit owners claiming some sort of media conspiracy against pits.
There's a reason many apartment complexes don't allow them and why some insurance companies won't cover you if you own one. A conspiracy huh?

The majority of dog bites attributed to Pit Bulls weren't even Pits.

If poodles became the breed of choice for dog fights, poodles would be vilified too.

"Friends say Stephens had recently been receiving death threats prior to the incident, which is another reason why they question whether the dogs were to blame."
Yeah, the dogs were used as a cover up for someone who actually did this.

Dogs that have been bred to have a killer instinct are never to be trusted, I have owned them and know first hand that you cannot discipline or change a dog who is born with a killer instinct / high prey drive.
Always under the surface the instinct to fight / kill / chase.... is waiting to be unleashed... it just takes the right situation.
I'm talking about dogs like protection breeds Rottweilers, Dobermanns and dogs who were bred to fight / be killers.

A certain type of person owns Pitts for a certain reason and then it gives them a bad name. Mostly ghetto people.

I sometimes wonder what a superior alien race might think of us were they able to observe our behavior and surely pit bulls must make them face palm (if that's a thing wherever they're from). We intentionally bred a wide variety of dogs with specific traits, and in this case many of the traits are aggressive and objectively dangerous. The breed continues to make headlines with statistically significant higher rates of violence, injury and death to humans but we can't seem to decide to stop creating this chimera because 'my friend sally has a pit bull and it's the nicest thing you've ever met. She would never hurt a fly.'
Can't we all agree that yes, many if not most pit bulls we meet are really sweet dogs almost all of the time, however there is a genetic predisposition in the breed towards violence. This shouldn't be a debate, it was put there intentionally. Can't we agree to stop making them? They are nothing more than a lab experiment in domestic canine violence, it's not like we are making a species extinct (though that's only recently stopped us). The only good reason to create more of these dogs is for dog fighting, which should not be tolerated, therefore they should not be allowed to be bred.
Make having these dogs spayed / neutered mandatory and possessing a puppy with more than 49% of their genes in 2019 illegal. Keep your adult pit bull at your own risk as I do know that they can be wonderful dogs and i don't suggest we put them all down. But how in the unholy **** can we not agree to stop making them?

The crates wouldn't be broken open if she just took them for a walk. People just want to sensationalize the myths about Pit Bull type dogs.
I am not saying I have any alternative theories but just that I found that strange.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

They need to figure out if her dogs did this or were they guarding her. Just doesn't make sense. It would be a very sad tragedy if those dogs get the death penalty for being good dogs, and even worse, putting more tarnish on the dog's breed.
Here is the scene: She is out walking and sees some stray dog(s) and of course being a rescuer she approaches them, she smells like other dogs, they attack her and her dogs of course can hear this and bust out of their cages but it's too late, so they guard her body. If they killed her why would they guard her?
Now, if they did kill her, don't just put them asleep, boil the dogs alive. Put them in a cage with a grizzly bear or something. However, lets be sure.

Anyone else wonder if it could have been
1. another animal/wolves/dogs/bear ect mauled her?
2. dad killed her and said the dogs did it.
3. or someone else killed her and made it look like the dogs did it and thats why the dogs were on edge with dad?
IDK just weird that they said the dogs killed her and then guarded her dead body. And didnt really give details on how they knew that to be true

I am not overly fond of small dogs, but I pretty much love all dogs. I just happen to have been around hundreds of Pits/bullies and I'm someone who roots for the underdog. I've been in bully breed rescue since 2012. I know what the fuk I'm talking about. I know the good, the bad and the ugly about Pit Bulls.Mostof the bad and ugly are media myths. Are they bred to fight other dogs? Yes, sadly and tragically. Are they strong dogs? Yes, of course. They don't have the strongest jaws, though. That's a myth. Pit Bulls were not bred to be human aggressive and anyone who thinks that is a fuking idiot. Do your research before you spout off about stuff you know nothing about. And no, not on Dogsbite.org FFS.
