Ah. I don't think it's going to get that far. unless BTC gets even more cucked. if it does it'll be a pleasant surprise at least.

What time is the IOTA wallet going live?
It's already live man. I've been following IOTA very closely so here's the deal: This (today's) wallet is an official wallet update which adds a feature called promotion which automatically reroutes your transaction through the Tangle if it gets "stuck" or underpromoted (similar to how BTC miners ignore low fee tx's). The UI is very similar/no changes, it only improves performance. They are working on a much higher end wallet similar to Exodus which will be released in last week Dec/early January (screenshot) - that's going to be huge. Also, Ruuvi (big finnish company) announced a full partnership with them, and Bosch invested huge amounts of capital in IOTA and added an advisor to the board (indicating they're in it for the long run).

Here's hoping. With some fine tuning and a little polishing of their devs, IOTA could have a big year. Glad to see their wallet is improved. The interface looks really nice. Is it fast?

Yeah you can play this game a few different ways. It's probably a good idea to track sats and $$$ at the same time.

Has someone found a good template or app they use to track everything? I have blockfolio and that works pretty well, but I'm an old-school excel spreadsheet kinda guy.

I did a few test transactions and it took about 2 minutes on average to process which is pretty good for zero fees. IOTA's speed is meant to increase the more users use it (because you do PoW for two transactions to do one transaction) so transactions increase the speed overall. It's not perfect or XRB-like speeds yet but it's definitely better than waiting days etc.

At the very least it looks like a good place to hedge while everything else has PMS today. BTC is 16,650 on Binance right now. 17,400 on bittrex. Interesting.
BTC update..
[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/ydyphODW/[img]

Hey sorry guys been away for a bit.. been dealing with some **** as a ton of my XLM has disappeared.. not sure if I was hacked or something. Pretty disappointing but gotta move on.

Anyway, BTC broke the channel I had in yesterday night. Was flirting with the support line all yesterday which typically signals weakness and then we had a big bearish break on heavy volume with a 2 hour close well below the support trendline. This is pretty worrying for me as these channels have never broke during prior consolidation periods. So we dropped down to the support which happens to be the prior breakout level around 17500 Poloniex where we're trying to hold currently.

TBH this does not look good. I'm out and will only buy back in if we have a 2 hour close above the upper resistance trendline on good volume around about 18.9k Poloniex. I'd be leaning towards testing lower support before a rally back to prior levels.

Let's look at a daily to get the macro view..
[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/1N9vHwQR/[img]

So some interesting things here.. MACD looking like it could reverse to the downside.. the last time this happened was the move from 7.5k to 5k and the China episode where we went from 5k to 3k area. RSI almost under the overbought area which typically means the move is over (not always for bitcoin but in more traditional markets).
We can see here clear support around about 16k which happens to be around the 20EMA and the 50EMA still should hold us strong around about 12.2k

Areas of support
17.6k
17.1k
16.7k - *** this must hold as it's the long term support line. If this fails it's a long way down till next support around 15.7k and then 12.3k

All of these are estimates and not exact numbers. Can still go either way so these are the levels I'm interested in. This would be the definition of a no trade zone for me as it stands. Maybe could play RSI oversold bounces off lower support but I wouldn't take a long term long position until we get confirmation

Confirmation back to stability/upside - a 4 hour close on good volume above the uppermost resistance line around about 18.9k

yes I know my confirmation numbers are high, but to me this is a very dangerous area and I would not want any long position until BTC proves itself twice.

So those are the things I'm looking at, this is not financial advice as always and I'm just sharing my thoughts here.

big IOTA sell wall @ 0.0003 still...bagholders trying to get out?
This could be the perfect storm for IOTA. If BTC falls below that next support level maybe more money will flow into it. That and a new wallet and clear out some FUD. I like it.

It's possible, my hand has hovered over the sell button myself but I think it's going for $5 today or bust. This is still very early news. When I posted, it was literally 2 minutes after the wallet went live and it was still $3.7-ish.

Pretty sure it was just at 4.90 on binance. Bitfinex is more steady around $4.75. Thanks for saving my gains.

Yeah there are huge sell walls on Finex. Binance seemed to overvalue slightly last time it mooned too.

IOTA very quickly approaching Cardano (ADA) MC.. not that far off now. Would need $5.15. If it displaces, that'll be more FOMO/reaper meme news and it's going to go higher.

Don't FOMO mane. Honestly, it's so volatile right now I'm not even sure what's going to happen, pure speculation. Don't want you to hold IOTA bags. It's just exciting for pre-existing bag holders.

If these f*cking whales put down the massive sell walls on Finex it'd help.
