As you guys can probably tell, XRP is not for me (obv don't like money), but I wouldn't make strong assertions about what it will and won't do. E.g. it will get a coinbase listing soon, it's going to overtake ethereum and btc, it's never going to go up x%, founders will never let it go over some dollar amount. This space changes so fast and half the time it doesn't even make sense.

Like I said previously, IMO if XRP is the top dog permanently, I see crypto as a whole as being a failed experiment.

There are, you just miss it because the same chit gets posted 10x in here. I always aware the coins I'm in which not many people are in and I keep seeing steady gains.

Honestly, people should just look at alt coin discussions and look out for the lower cap ones people shill. If it is a decent project and there is consensus among the different shilling groups that some project is decent AND it still hasn't mooned, then you should probably buy some.

Uuuh. So if let's say you move your money from Chase Bank to Bank of America that usually takes 3 days for regular transfer or few minutes for wired but will cost you $80.
Ripple can help make the transaction real-time for a lot cheaper transaction fees in the future. It's application is not limited to banks. So you may not benefit from it directly but through your transactions with these institutions that will in the future utilize ripple.

I’m talking about benefits for me owning the ripple coin. It’s basically a coin with 0 use for non banking people. I also don’t see how banks will be ok with people driving up the prices of ripple which makes it more expensive to actually use

LMAO McAfee ****ting on his own vaporware (XVG, obviously) pump and dump now--he must've fully dumped
To the Verge people: I stated that VERGE MIGHT possibly rise, over the long term, to $0.15 - which was an increase of 1,500% over its price st the time. If you believe I am so stupid as to predict a rise of 150,000% - which is $15 - then you need to back off on the drugs.

Cliffs: If you had bought Verge at anything over 1 billion you're a retard. A lucky retard for a week, but still a straight retard who was dumb enough to buy a fork of Dogecoin with zero tech at a premium.

Same as any benefit you get from other alt coins. You can buy and sell it. At this point, it is still not a bad coin to earn money from. If you bought low, then you still have a lot of reason to hold it since it can still go up.

Agreed. They haven't done a great job promoting themselves in the cryptosphere. Could be a resource issue where they dont have enough time/people to do much, could be a strategy/timing thing, could be an incompetence thing.

Hard to say, but they've convinced some big names and definitely have some talent in their realms. The big tell will be the UX quality. Anything like this has to be easy and simple for 18-30 at the very least.

Yeah I tried swinging by a while back, but it was gone

But just took a little time away... crypto 24/7 for a year takes a lot of you, especially when you're just a 90% HODLer anyway

PM me new info and I'll pop in when I get back in a week (out of state until early Jan, but then popping over to Hawaii for some adventures in mid Jan)

Long term hodler for me. I still think it'll be 1k by April. One scenario that I heard was a partnership with a big company. It was rumored to be ******** but Charlie Lee said it was not. Seems as though he's caught flak recently for selling his LTC before it's recent crash (like that's what brought the whole fuggin market down, ok.jpg). But whoever the partnership is with may have asked him to get rid of his LTC as a part of their agreement. Hoping that comes out in a few weeks.

It's sad to say it, but usually the people with no money in the game are glad to see failure or loss for those that are involved in it.

It's their loss at the end of the day. As I've said before, I've invested what I can afford to lose. I'm young and have time to recover if it should happen, but I don't think it will. They act like there isn't corrections in every market on earth.

How soon they forget the crash of 2008, with all of their traditional and "safe" investments. I know people who lost half of their savings or retirement accounts in 2008. According to history and the experts that shouldn't have happened, but it DID happen.
We had people here in Florida making $50k a year buying homes that cost $400k. Do the math on that one. Everyone deserves a home, even those who can't or won't be able to pay for it. Churn and burn. I believe the crash began here and spread. I think we were ground zero, and if not that we were one of the hardest hit areas of the country here in SW Florida.

Some people don't get it, and they just want to see us and others fail, because they've succeeded at nothing in their own lives. Others are just extremely risk averse and to them we are insane. They will likely die poor, or make retirement and keep living an average life. When they die their children will piss away all of their money. Oh how many times I have seen it.

Sorry to be seemingly negative, but it was brought up around here, and I told no one I am involved. I like to observe. What I observed was a bunch of nay sayers and negative people who really had no idea of what they were talking about. I'm not an expert either, but I think others here know what I mean and can relate.
