Continuing my Education

Picking up new hobbies ie; golf, kayaking

Looking to read 24 books for the year

Refocusing on my fitness, 2017 destroyed my lean gains

Keep maxing 401ks and roths for wife and I

Making a decision on if we're going to buy our forever home or remodel our current home and make It our forever home

Spend as much time with family as I can.

Trying to make every free minute I have useful.

- get my GED
- apply for college classes and start working towards my degree.
- get my drivers license.
- start going to therapy so I can finally slay all these "demons" that have been ripping my soul apart for so many years and go on with my life with no more weight on my shoulders.
- compete in a powerlifting meet for the first time in 8 years.

All of these goals I'd like to achieve in the next year. I can do it if I work hard and do everything right.

Quit caffeine. I've noticed a huge change in my personality when I don't drink coffee. I know it sounds crazy but it's true. Can't seem to get past 8 days cold turkey.

Say yes to more plans with friends... meaning be more spontaneous. Sometimes i say no to plans just because i didn't plan it into my day.

Get engaged or end my relationship. Been together 8 years. either it's happening or i need to move on.

Write in my journal more often. I've had a journal since 2002. It's so fun to look back on my life from so long ago. The past 2 years i haven't kept up with it so i want to get back into it.

Less smoking weed... i think it's giving me asthma lol.

i really need to step things up in 2018. here are some of my major goals:

- quit my 9-5 job and become self-employed (already have a little bit of side business money trickling in)
- travel around the world and experience hostel life
- get to 12% bodyfat
- run a 5k (my cardio is currently absolute chit)
- pick up music production as a hobby

overall i want to stop overanalyzing stuff and start actually taking action

That will not make me succeed and frankly I disappoint myself. So that stops.

My public library has a Winter Reading Challenge so I signed up for that yesterday and picked up four new books to start working my way through. Read 20 minutes yesterday and will continue to track my progress through GoodReads and the 52 Books Crew. This was my first year not participating and I am dumber because of it (srs.)

I'm going to invite someone over for dinner every Friday night.

Rest on Saturdays. Really rest. Turn my phone off, hide my laptop.

I'm going to bake some fukkin bread. Making bread is time consuming. I have to set timers, and stop what I'm doing to knead and punch down some bread. Plus the house just smells amazing, and my neighbors think I have my life together when I bring it over. Friday afternoon bread making. I'm on Day 3 of feeding my first Sourdough Starter.

Damn. Feels good just putting that all down. We're all gonna make it, brahs.
bread truk just arive

I am surprised and proud of you guys. Most of your goals seem to be focused on career, education and health. Was expecting different answers tbh.

Do bread

Good luck with your goals. Hostel life is pretty fun to be honest as long as you're not in an actual horror movie.

I need to stop being so damn nice! Srs!

I mean, I really should reign it in. I tend to go above and beyond in giving people things and treating them kindly even though they don't show me the same. I need to be more... indifferent.

Example: my husband's sis-in-law always gives me crappy gifts probably worth less than $10. But whenever we visit, I'm taking her Versace perfumes and other expensive gifts because I don't want them to think we're cheap or anything.

Travel to Morocco, France, and Quebec City. Spend less money on clothing and put $10,000 into savings rather than $5,000 like 2017.

Continue to eat an A+ diet.

Continue to not drink any alcohol.

In 2015 I quit a good career, although one I didn't want to be in, sold my house, and moved to California to get into web development. I had a job for a year and then lost it due to layoffs so I was off work for 8 months this last year, and started a new one in July. Biggest goal is to replenish my savings and continue building my new worth. Also going to start looking for a mid-level position in Orange County and move closer to the beaches/ocean/tech community.

Made enough money in the crypto world to retire in 2018 and start training MMA on a full time basis. I'm also having my second child. I'm building my own house, and a cottage. Have a few investment properties I'm closing on. Also planning to hire a live in nanny/cook which I'm pretty excited for. Also looking to buy an RV and start travelling north america.

Busy year
