I'm saying that discrimination based on race is wrong, and that white people are in fact experiencing it. Whether or not other groups ALSO experienced it doesn't change the fact that as of this moment, white people are experiencing it.

I've noticed this same train of thought you seem to be stuck on from feminists. You seem to think that someone saying "White people are experiencing racism/discrimination" somehow takes away from what other groups have dealt with. It doesn't. Feminists seem to think that saying "Men have issues" takes away from women also having issues. It doesn't. Both can be true simultaneously. Why you seem to want to turn it into an oppression Olympics, and claim "Well we had it worse so white people should stop whining" is pretty questionable (I know you didn't use those exact words, but that seems to be the general vibe).

Tell me: Does white people being discriminated against threaten your victimhood?

**Edit**

Tell you what, I'll go one better and answer your question with another question (while simultaneously answering yours):

Do you think the fact that these groups are not "on equal footing" with white people is due to discrimination, or could there be some other reason?
Nope, white people being discriminated against does not threaten my victimhood (whatever that means).

I'll answer your question with a question.

If these groups are not on equal footing, should they be on equal footing?

Interested to hear a response from BPP on this (or any other AA proponent, ftm). Convenient it was skipped over?

It seems to me that self segregation is a way of retaining pride for some minority communities. At whatever cost, a title matters more than being able to fulfill the duties of said title properly.

Assimilation therefore doesn't seem to be a priority. Which is a problem for the stability of a united country trying to progress righteously.

As for your question, it's not just some random SJW videos on the internet (although those do in fact have some measure of affecting hearts and minds of the young). College professors are pushing this **** in universities. Even school teachers are pushing leftist narratives on kids. It's all Cultural Marxist dogma being pushed, and the oppressor class in said dogma is the White Male. Furthermore, the MSM also pushes the same nonsense, and defends these Marxist professors when they make completely outlandish statements, like the recent professor who finally resigned after he claimed "All I want for Christmas is white genocide". But yeah, white people aren't being discriminated against, we just have professors who want us all dead teaching this **** to students.
Even if I agreed that the current discrimination against white people is fairly petty and trivial ****, the indoctrination being foisted upon the next generation is already rearing its ugly head with the SJW crowd.. Antifa is comprised of anti-White, Communist asshats who run around larping as revolutionaries, committing violence. The next generation of this crap isn't going to be trivial.
Idk, I guess some things like this occur, and I see how people can come to these conclusions, but I think it's a bit far fetched, but I see your view though.

No. They should be given equal opportunity, which they already have. Equality before the law is all that matters. Granted, black people get fukced over in the sentencing race gap (like men get fukced over compared to women by 60% longer sentences), but aside from that, again, equality before the law is the only equality that matters.

I'm curious why everyone (mostly on the left) is so hell bent on some fantasy version of "equality" anyway. Why do you think everyone should be equal? People are inherently NOT equal to each other. This website is a perfect example of guys who aren't equal to their peers. People who are genetically gifted, and also have a strong work ethic are "mysteriously" in better shape than people who don't. Oh no.. the inequality.. Some people are smarter than others. Some people are taller, others are manlets. More inequality. There is literally no way to redress these inequities without kneecapping the more gifted people and bringing them down to the lowest common denominator. I think this is why the left push for Socialism so much, because that's pretty much what Socialism is & does: Brings everyone down to the same level, since it's impossible to elevate people. You can't make a lazy person work harder. You can't make a stupid person more intelligent. You can't make a short person taller.

Equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome is what everyone should be given. They already have it.

I've verbatim had these kinds of conversations with black coworkers, some of which I consider my friends.

Pretty typical response from the left. No argument, so we turn things into personal attacks and call people racist. Par for the liberal course.

What is the point of citing Clarence Thomas? You're literally using him as a token in lieu of making an actual argument against AA because he's black, esteemed, and happens to agree with you. For the record, Thurgood Marshall, the only other black Supreme Court Justice, was a strong supporter of affirmative action. Interesting that you failed to mention that. It's crazy how black people aren't completely homogenous and have a variety of opinions on issues, huh?

The media promotes an anti white agenda. You're an idiot if you don't think a white male and a black female with the same qualifications have the same chance of getting a job. For example, I met NASA astronaut candidates, and found out what they did before, you had an Asian male who was an ex Seal then got a doctorates at Harvard, a ton of male former pilots with extensive training and knowledge of aviation, then a black female who got a geology degree. No disrespect to her because she was chill, but I was shocked thats all she needed to do to be an astronaut.

I meant social media too. But who are the main consumer group that the media is trying to appeal to? The young liberal type kids? or the middle aged people who have grown past that phase.
Yeah jackass I live in seattle and I've had my resume thrown out because I have a white male last name and the only race I can claim thats a minority is asian.
And fuker you can't base everything off a few cases.
Everything in america is made up of white people, why because the majority of america is white.

Now it gets a bit dangerous. If you can deny service or hire whoever you want whenever you want, so can Harvard right? So of course there's gotta be some instances where you can't deny service or refuse to hire someone. And then we have to get into the nuances of law for that.

4.Ok and again? Do they HAVE to take it? As far as I'm aware, this is a negotiation process.

5.What happened to the law being just or you running for office to change things? Or are we not doing that here either?

6.Court behavior and ability to afford representation come to mind as not being considered.

7.Maybe don't commit more crime than everyone else?

8.Not sure about this, so I won't comment as I don't know how probation works
Gonna need some hard numbers. "More" can mean 2% more or 200% more.

Discrimination SOLELY based on skin color (South Africa is poorer in just about every regard today than pre Apartheid too, so it's not as if it has "worked")

This sign wants to say one thing and one thing only, but that's against the law so you have the sign.
Well, the right to associate with whoever doesn't give you the right to refuse service or refuse to hire whoever for whatever reason. Or else Harvard could too. There are laws against discriminating in business open to the public. As said above, there are legal nuances that we probably don't want to get into.

I'm not saying whites serve and protect. I'm saying if you're a cop, or in another profession where your job is to serve and protect the public, it's difficult to be objective and fair in serving and protecting the public if you truly believe that some people are inherently worse than others. Not impossible, but difficult.

So which is it?
I never said all whites are this or all whites are that. There are extremist rightists, extremist leftists, and people all over the spectrum. The people are the ends are shouting their agendas into a megaphone and lobbing insults at the other side, while the rest of the people, for the most part, are living their lives, trying to be decent human beings.

If you're a kid living in in a black neighborhood, but your mayor is white, your teachers are white, your principal is white, your doctor is white, your pharmacist is white, the policemen are white, your landlord is white,... what would that tell you as a kid about what you can become when you grow up?

When you see people in leadership positions that look like you, it gives you hope, pride, a sense that you can become whatever you want if you're qualified.

Yeah jackass I live in seattle and I've had my resume thrown out because I have a white male last name and the only race I can claim thats a minority is asian.
And fuker you can't base everything off a few cases.
Everything in america is made up of white people, why because the majority of america is white.
What about social media? The internet is filled with racism from white people against minorities, just lol at pretending it wasn't a thing until white people started getting a taste of it thanks to Twitter or whatever.

I don't believe you got your resume thrown out because of a "white male last name" that doesn't even make sense, and how do you say this before telling me I can't base everything off a few cases?

It's not just a few, there are many confirmed instances where white names got callbacks over "ethnic" ones, look it up, they've actually done experiments to go with experiences

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ning-callbacks

nobody actually believes a "white" name will do worse than an ethnic one because it's not true

Agreed, as an adult it seems ridiculous, but as an child it makes sense. I never had any sort of judgments about middle easterns until the media plastered their faces all over and claimed they were all terrorists. When you're a kid and the only middle eastern people you ever see are terrorists, isn't it kind of natural to be afraid of them?
And for african americans, the only ones I saw on tv were rappers and athletes, and then all the african american kids in my school started trying to rap, focus on basketball or football, dressing like gangsters, skipping school, smoking weed, and just doing everything wrong.
