this... not sure why theres so much hate on charting itt. do they predict the future of course not but ive made logical buy decisions based on support lines and logical sell decisions based on resistance lines and have been prepared for obvious breakouts, see FUN this morning. Clear as day that **** was going, POE yesterday was another obvious one.

Well a lot of new people and everyone has their own new alt coin pick. You go back to some of the older crypto threads, it seemed like there were less coins being floated around as good picks. But some of those old threads with reputable miscers have picks that have yet to blow up.

Misc was right about NEO, OMG, WTC, and REQ has been the next one I got in on because a lot of solid miscers recommended it. Some of the other picks back then were Kyber and Loopring. Both of those I think were just picked too early, because of how far out their road maps were, but without a doubt they will end up in the misc HOF picks.

Far from mad. I've just seen chit from you let alone something that would validate an "analysis" of BTChad dropping 40%. And like someone else said, charting in crypto is retarded except referencing to see if it's already mooned or not lol

Do you check yesterday's price, last week's price or last month's price before buying a coin?

learning TA isn't so difficult, there is a lot more use to charts than looking at "moon" phases.

more for the ones that are successful i guess?

lol, can't win an argument so you just use sarcasm. ALl your posts are just filled with anger.

I can guarantee that you look at charts to make a decision. You check previous prices, I doubt you look at today's price and make a decision based on that without historical data.

There's tons of literature on successful charters. Paul Tudor Jones is a good example if you're interested. Crypto speculation isn't really different from other volatile markets. You have order flow, supply/demand, and volume all there to look at.

Oh well. I'm not going to win you over but I can give you 10 great books to read about successful trading if you want the list.

Still haven't slept. Staring at this DBC chart and feeling FOMO. If the person with the 600k sell wall drops it all the sudden the coin is probably going to go 300%. Price is dropping though because no one is trying to touch that thing. Work in 5 hours. I've got a bad addiction to this srs brahs.

Also confused how that one brah says he's all in USD now, had a 96% realized gain, bought in at 6.6k and sold at 16k. Math does not compute.

huh? He is claiming that through his analysis he predicts $8k BTC. let's here it from either one of you to support this or just deflect. I'll wait lol

I'm doubting anything from (aside from your ludicoroys 8k BTC prediction) I'm just saying we haven't seen anything from you. At least with chartbrah he comes back wether right or wrong with further analysis. You would've been better off saying speculation vs analysis lol. That said I'm greatly interested in reading material. Sorry so many of you *******s got so devastated on criticism or questioning. #notmy2017

Charts aren't as useful in crypto as other markets but they're still useful. Check out btc's 6H chart on gdax, no way would I buy right now.

i'm not defending anyone's claim on predictions based on chart analysis.

This is what you said:
And like someone else said, charting in crypto is retardedexcept referencing to see if it's already mooned or not lol

How is charting retarded, if all charts show are previous prices? that's all it is. Charts aren't some Voodoo shyt. You make decisions based on previous prices. If charting is retarded, just make your trades based on current prices without looking at previous prices.

sup *******s.

At my first morning glance over cmc, going to be checking out DBC again today, seeing some moves currently on it. Whales might have finally accumulated what they want to are now pulling those massive 2.5m sell walls.

lol 2 edits - Autum, you've been watching DBC all night? are my thoughts right? haven't even looked at the graph but thats what I'm guessing is happening, might be good to pick up my mid term hold stack from it.

edit 2- To HYM - I'll take the trading books would be appreciated if you could PM, I'll shoot reps.

You should've bolded the words immediately following it. That's not "charting" that's looking both ways before crossing the street

You can't make up your own definition of charting. Everyone has their own way of "charting".
If you look at charts for previous prices, then yes, you are charting, whether you like it or not.

last time i'm shilling this coin bc i hate shilling buthttps://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electra/is looking pretty promising if some brahs are looking for cheap coins

their new website just launched 5mins ago (https://electraproject.org/) community is really really good, no pump and dump trash either since there's staking. uses NIST5 tech and atomic swap will be coming to it in q1 2018. transactions are instant and fees are tiny. only on autistic exchanges atm but it's being released to next.exchange along with 15 or so other coins (colx being one of them) obviously no guarantee in this crypto world but i'm liking it so far

ta is useful.. but you cant predict the next buy

it gives you a sense of wats going on/ where it could go, but its thrown out the window if some random whale drops 5 million either way

Yeah, I've been staring at it all at work trading then going into this afternoon. There's literally just one 590k sell wall at 760 and a 1m one at 790. almost nothing past it resistance wise. There was a 100k sell wall each at 757, 758, and 759 that suddenly dropped too. Also big offers around that sell wall of 100k+ are being bought out very quickly. I've sold off everything into BTC and didn't want to buy back in at a loss but it'll make like a $40 difference buying at 739 instead of 722. And I need to sleep before work pretty badly lmao. I think it's pretty likely to moon, 100% being held down by whales.
