I think it's a very niche concept. People just choose not to use data abroad, or use hotel WiFi at the end of the day. Also, most mobile users will choose their data packages based on personal usage.

That said, many people will FOMO into it and you will profit because it's cheap so go for it.

I was able to gather this.

How will DENT make money?
The currency used on the marketplace, the DENT Token, is what powers the platform. The actual sale, purchase and donation of transactions enters the Ethereum blockchain, utilizing ETH. The instruments, i.e. data packages, will be Smart Contracts in the Ethereum blockchain. DENT marketplace will drive Ethereum Smart Contracts, effectively making the system a blockchain-based trading platform. The crowdsale will allow participants to purchase DENT with a low starting price, before it becomes used in the marketplace.

As the marketplace becomes a de-facto place for trading mobile data bandwidth, it will also become the principal method for determining the floating price of mobile data worldwide. Telcos, market participants and end-users will all interact in a true market driven way to determine the current price. Eventually this will lead to increased competition, providing new packages to the marketplace and further enable the DENT marketplace to become the dominant force in the mobile data space, utilizing the DENT currency.

The revenue of DENT marketplace will come from transaction fees via spread and commissions. We will be establishing the DENT Token for these transactions, and our goal is to give mobile operators, consumers, enterprises and other market participants easy tools to compete and run their mobile data needs in the new open world.

How big is the market?
According to a recent study of CISCO, the amount of mobile data world-wide grew 63% in 2016, and it was 7.2 billion Gigabytes per month in December 2016. According to a stuy of Parks Associates, the telcos make $386 Billion USD revenue / year with mobile data. That is $32,2 Billion USD revenue for the telcos per month.
If 15% of that is unused data from users, that makes $4.8 Billion USD monthly value for the unused data market alone.

So right now it seems that investing in pumps is the way to profit (I assume becuase the market is attracting so many new investors that are emotionally buying into pumps).

My more conservative recent investments (wait for correction, consolidation, establishment of key resistance levels), isn’t paying off.

I must criticize myself here; I haven’t adapted to the new temporary environment. A friend of mine told me to stop overthinking it and just imagine what the average new investor will do. They will look at a coin like Ripple and buy with disregard.

Now the only question remaining is; how long will this influx of new investors stay?

As long as they're making money they'll keep coming in. Looks like the way to make money now is to buy coins less than $1. It's retarded but whatever. Throw money into everything in the top 50 below $1 and profit.

Reddit is unreadable nowadays. I just use it to see what is getting shilled, whatever is on the frontpage of the crypto subreddit is bound to go up. Full of a bunch of idiots who have no idea what they're talking about proud that they lucked into the 100% coin of the day with their $50 investment. Dropped my 8k in KCS into REQ for a bit which is now pumping after being on the front page. Gonna ride that for a bit before switching back into KCS in anticipation of the XRB listing.

still smh at TRX. I kind of want to sell some of my XLM or maybe ENG or ADA to buy in, which is generally an AWFUL idea after something goes 125% but here comes the "oh man this top 10 coin is 16 cents what if it hits $1000" newb brigade.

KCS is on super sale right now which is very nice, sold out all of it to try and daytrade REQ on Kucoin which turned out to be a stupid idea because the volume is so low. But now working out because REQ is up about 5% and KCS is down about 10% right now because some whale is manipulating. Bout to unload most of the REQ into KCS for a nice little profit today of around 100 KCS. REQ looks like it might be going into a cup and handle and blasting off so I'll keep a few thousand in it I think.

Agree 100%, i pulled out of xlm thinking yeah i made a lot its time to get out way overbought. Then it goes up 2k sats over night, waited all today for a decent dip to buy back in.. nope. Ended up fomoing back in as marketcap has space to move, lots of xrp/xlm attention and fairx launch will eventually come good. Still pissed at at having to buy back in like this and will prob regret it..
