power is essentially free, we have solar panels , most of our bills especially in the winter are positive and my room is in the basement so I crack a window for temp control this thing can heat my room by itself though so heat is definitely a concern of mine since I don't want to burn out the cards.

best thing I found is to underclock them all like 10%-15% it won't make a significant difference on your hashing power, but it stresses the cards way less than just running them at OC for a few more pennies a day, rather have the longevity, trick is to set set fan profiles that scale well with your environment, don't want them running when the cards naturally cool without it.

also I mined on my 1070 for months straight and I don't see any signs of it failing either, I've more than made back my investment in them, and I didn't even buy them for mining. just run it whenever I'm not gaming basically.
