My first year was 2013. I was actually reading MISC and they were mentioning some alts back then (but the ones people talked about was stuff like Quark coin and they died in like 2014 or so).

What are your plans to protect your wealth? Just keep it in NEM?
What kind of work do you do that you always come home tired?

Mirin srsly. I went balls deep in Dragonchain at .50 and I locked them away in a wallet, not to be touched until they're $1000 each. I think it's possible since they're basically Disney's blockchain, and Disney stops at nothing until they are #1 at everything.

Have you invested in any longshot cryptos? Or are you even in the crypto trading game anymore? Oh, and I literally doubled up on small investment in Quark coin yesterday, so while it may be dead, people are still pumping it.

Dragonchain may succeed, but you know that DISNEY is not really affiliated with Dragonchain, right?

there are so many pursuits in life. a single pursuit can never be truly mastered in a given life time. simply making a chit ton of money is not "maxing everything out". money provides freedom to do what you please. maxxing out your money/net worth is essentially maxxing out your freedom to do what you please. it is not even close to the end all be all.

I'm trying to artificially pump BNTY if anyone wants in. I think we can pull an easy 20-30% off this by creating a moon. I have 15k in it right now. Good volume and support building up strong. I'm up 10% here in about ten minutes

Next ones to watch: XC (won't be a ****coin for long), ECC, EthBet.
Will look into XC and EthBet. Already in ECC. They will release a new website and start marketing this month so I would say its a no-brainer to throw at least $100 into it.

edit: I bookmarked a bunch of small coins that I'll potentially throw some $$$ into for when my next deposit hits the exchange

Glad you asked brah.

Basically, it was the first project to come from the team working on BlockNet, from 3-4 years ago. It came out around the same time as Darkcoin (now known as Dash). The Darkcoin community FUD'd the **** out of XC and the founders/devs. They started another project in unison with XC (Blocknet).

They originally planned on XC being a pure privacy coin (hence the FUD wars with Darkcoin/Dash back then), but are working on another path for it at the moment (privacy centric, still).

Because things move so fast in crypto, a lot of people have given up holding the coin (opportunity cost can be harsh), and so the price sank. Usually i would run a mile when things look so bleak, but i've been around the Blocknet team on Slack and such for a long time and have faith they'll deliver. And since the price tanked, i picked up a bunch more in recent months. If these noobs checked the teams GitHub, they would see development is active. The Blocknet team has always been of the mindset - development first, marketing later.

The reason you can’t buy any is because XC was only listed on NovaExchange, which announced they were closing down, hence why XC is no longer listed in plain sight on CMC (still has a page there though -https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xcurrency/). The team doesn’t really care if it can be traded, because like I said, they don’t need the money (thanks to Blocknet’s success) and are only concerned about working on the product before anything else.

Once the Blocknet DEX is released, XC will be tradeable on there and the new roadmap will be revealed (soon, but no date announced).

You can at least bookmark the CMC page and look at it periodically to check for new exchanges, and to see if the news (when it's released) takes your interest. DYOR of course, but i'm pretty sure the 13,000 i hold will be worth a ****load later this year.

EthBet is the one i'm least sure about, but the MC is so low that it's probably not a much bigger risk.

I mined my ECC back when it was released, spent about 100 € on electricity. My stack is currently worth 13k €, and as you said, they haven't even really started moving so much yet.

2018 is going to be pissening.

The point of money is freedom. It's not boring at all to be rich unless maybe you're a boring person yourself. Money opens the world to you, imagine not being tied down in a job and not having to worry about money but being free to indulge in your hobbies or buy toys or start new businesses and new projects etc.
****ing this. Can't wait to not be tied to the 9-5 life. I'll still work within some form of business of my own, but on my own projects and my own schedule.

How fuking long does it take Bittrex to respond to support?

Been a month now ffs.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
