Segwit is bad for crypto. If people really wanted their free coin they should've taken it to an offline wallet anyway.

Btc devs cant seem to reach development consensus so thats another reason for the forks.

I also went looking at btc's total exchanges and eth might be on just as many. Eth and btc both had about 400 listings on coinmarketcap.

Btc has first mover advantage and thats about it. But i agree some improvements make it just as viable
Just curious, do you have any sources saying that Bitcoin core are the ones suggesting and doing the forking?

Bitcoin has been in development turmoil forever. Thats why you have 2 reddits of btc. Vs bitcoin.

No not all forks are because of this but theyve had disagreements for a long time on satoshis vision, block size, etc.

I just made another post about all the fork action and it didnt even take into account the fact that with the btc forks btc devs get a free copy and then can throw that money back into btc

You act like i wasnt here for the bigger forks. I got into bitcoin gold early because everybody anticipated it rising. Purely because of the forks.. Surely enough it did

A fork causing a rise doesnt make sense because, again, its not reaching development consensus..it should split. One party going one way, another going another way. That portion is broken off, effectively dropping btc value. But it doesnt and didnt.

Bccash saw a rise
Btcgold
And s2x all saw rises dispite indicating great turmoil within btc

that's a pretty good move. I've caught bounty, prl, and, snovio early on Kucoin and they've all done me well.

Are you selling off other positions to get into Canya? or putting in new $$?

that's the dilemma i always have... is it worth it to give up positions in good coins to get in a new coin that will prob 3x really quick

I honestly think after bcash people expected them to pump post fork and market mentality overtook and it almost became a self fulfilling prophecy for all other forks.

A fork shouldn’t create wealth but it does.. it’s so bizarre

Yeah kinda same.

Well luckily for me I can make 1k+ per week depending on deep I go into onions that week so than I pretty much allocate that weekly airdrop into other coins.

I have like 500 PRL I bought cheap on KuCoin I can sell off for a bit and .25 btc I am saving for it, so that should be prob 4-6k I'm okay with risking that for a coin dropping.
