XRP would be considered a safe alt to people new to the space imo. The majority of investors are risk averse and once they decide to venture away from Coinbase I can imagine them looking to XRP since it's a top 3 cap and also looks very professional (also the whole cheap coin thing). Even before it exploded I had friends not yet invested in crypto ask me about Ripple.

Hysteria and marketing. DASH was the first coin to develop a full on marketing team and market their coin like a product. They went from ch*tcoin to phenomenally valuable. XRP saw this. XRP was always a chitcoin and they knew most real crypto supporters hated it, so what did they do? Brad the dickhead CEO goes on a marketing rampage, fabricating news, whatever shady ass way he could get Ripple out there to the common man. They succeeded in grabbing the normies attention and then the commercial entities came out wanting their cut of the money.

As much as I agree with you guys about XRP being the ****tiest thing to ever happen to cryptocurrency, you guys are kidding yourself if you don't think like normies. XRP will moon much harder, that's the bottom line. If you want to make a lot of money...XRP is a safe bet in my opinion. I don't like it one bit...but I think it's the harsh truth.

To the Moon! When I look at the ico for Appc it seems like one ether got you 3000 tokens? So that would be when ether was lower but even if you figure $1000.00 invested and each coin is worth 2.80 you would have already 10x your money.
