since you are a miami brah. let me cut you in on a secret.

just buy 50 bucks/100/1000 per week whatever your budget is, scale in no mater what the price

When it dips you will probably want to buy more (however that can chew up your bank roll if it dips more). So by simply buying at timed weekly intervals you don't need to worry about dips or missing out on rallies.

In terms of Bitconnect, this is why I took an interest in Bitshares. Decentralized exchanges are the future. Srs.

Take a look at the 7 day market cap chart. We might see sub $1000 BTC soon.

Just gotta get that USD ready and DCA near the bottom and how sweet the ride up will be!

I'm more interested in the 1 month, that drop from 830B to 702B because cmc decided to exclude Korean exchanges without telling anyone. The market never recovered from that chit.

The only problem with that is central banks have been buying stocks at increasing rates, the stock market is propped up by central banks...
How do they buy stocks? They have the capability of literally making money from nothing, eroding your purchasing power of fiat, so the only way is to follow where they are dumping money so you don't lose (but the majority of people will lose because they have limit access to invest in stock markets).

Meanwhile with crypto the graph is almost perfectly following this image:
imgur.com/vyXcUHn
I'm honestly expecting the price to fall even more, probably overcorrect (I'm expecting anywhere from $5000 to $8000) and recover to a stable rate. The only problem is bitcoin is terrible in comparison to the alternatives, so something else might take over as the main currency and the market overall will recover. The only plus sides for bitcoin is that it has lots of traction with the general population and it is a major trading pair for all alt coins.

I would love for crypto to recover but the reality of the situation is everything is hugely over valued at this current point in time. I'm not sure what people are expecting... a sudden recovery to $14000US+ for BTC, Market Cap $700bil+ for all cryptocurrencies? The majority of these 'currencies' have little to none utility in everyday life at this current point in time so how can they be valued at billions of dollars?

This list is stolen from reddit and it just highlights how broken it is at the moment:

Bitconnect, a literal Ponzi scheme, $2.5 Billion
Tron, literally scamcoin selling the idea of "Web 4.0" to normies on Twitter went to $17 billion
Cardano ballooned to $20 billion on just a whitepaper
Qtum, still no product yet, $4 billion
Dentacoin, literal Bulgarian Pajeetcoin for dentists, $2 billion
Bitcoin Gold, pointless fork of Bitcoin, $4.5 Billion

My own addition is this: it seems like bitcoin exchanges operate like pure money making machines with no ethical responsibility or regulation. You see alts like bitcoin diamond appear on binance and kucoin exploding in volume (their 24hr volume was over 50000btc on binance at it's peak meaning they would be making 50000 anywhere from $350000US to $700000US or more in fees just from trading on the 1 coin), only because the supply was artificially restricted by a wallet suspension. If there was any regulatory oversight then there would be required suspension of trading.
The same goes for news releases, it seems that the ones in the know get the jump first whilst all the 'normies' pile in afterwards and then just get pummeled when it corrects (e.g. mod from slack releasing hype before actual news release for Walton). Any proper stock exchange, or central bank, would require notice and suspend trading of an asset based on impending news.
annnnnnd HOW can you allow the main founder of Tron (Justin Sun) to offload his holdings without any oversight? (again they don't care because all this action generates volume = more fees for them)

It's honestly just very odd to see everyone live in this delusion. Cryptocurrencies can make you rich and blockchain technology is not going to disppear (although look up hashgraph because PoW and PoS both have their flaws when it comes to distributed ledger systems), but the current system is broken.

TLDR: system is broken, needs correction to fix, ride isn't over yet

I think we might be reaching a point where these B.s. alts get litttt up and the most promising start to bottom out.

In b4 everything goes back up 54000%

but this is why you stick with the best projects and not just hype news related.

Yea these huge 50% dips don't affect me anymore like they used too. No point in selling. Just be patient. Only thing you should be doing is adding more fiat (if you have available).

If you believe in the market this is the way to do it, you make the most money buying low. If you are a believer in crypto it should be a sure thing to you that the market will bounce back to what it once was then go higher.

But this makes more sense, or at least days or weeks, could drop another 50% today and every day following till we near zero.
