Of course these people got to reproduce and have 13 kids. Go figure. I'm going to die alone, and I have so much I could share with and teach to a child and so much love to give to a woman. But, I will die alone, while scum like these people were able to bring 13 lives into this world and fill them with suffering and misery. These "parents" won't even be put to death for their actions. They will live out their lives at the state's expense. I feel for those kids, and I hope they can find decent homes and start recovering. For reasons that I can't understand, nature seems to reward this type of behavior. That's why you see incompetent parents like this having more children than decent people.

What's up with people talking about the hair? (srs). Is it a specific style of haircut that is off?

I mean its not that common of a haircut, but it seems like the kind of thing when you see someone's mugshot you think "they definitely look like someone who would commit that crime". Hindsight is always 20/20

I see those innocent little girls(and the boys but u nom sayn..little gurls hit my feelers) in dresses and think how sad it is all in all and how i wish i cld takes them for a better life.wtf did/could they do to deserve that!?

I don't get how people do this to their own children. My mom was very abusive to me, and I'll still never understand it. In her case, it was probably because she hated my dad, but this family, the couple looked like they loved each other. I mean they had 13 fukn kids...I just can never understand something like this. They must have both been monsters inside.

I'm confused about the timelines. Was the malnourishment only recent? There are family photos of them when the parents renewed their vows, when they went to Disneyland, etc.. and people thought they looked like a happy family. But then why are the older children so small due to malnournishment?

Unfortunately in today's sensitive society where everyone is free from judgement on their appearance, no one could come right out and say "they look weird, probably something wrong with them"

When I was a kid (40 years ago), you could say "Johnny's dad looks like a weirdo" and chances are you were correct. We can't do that anymore. Everyone is beautiful and perfect.

Just seeing these parents as my neighbours, I would find every way possible to alert the neighbourhood that they are weirdos and I would look for any chance to report them to authorities...be it the cable company or the cops. Sue me.

What I don't get is how it's possible for not just one, but both parents to be able to do this. don't want them executed, because that would just fuk the kids up more, but they should be severely beaten and imprisoned for life. Maybe throw a bit of that torture action in there.

How do two adults sift through all of the semi crazy people out there to find someone psycho enough to partner up and do this chit....wtf.

I wonder what the best case scenario is for these kids? Will any of them come even close to living a normal life, or even alone and not in some type of mental hospital. So sad for them, they will probably live the rest of their lives completely frightened of everything and have mental breakdowns daily.
