My first real concert was Pearl Jam when I was about 14 then I saw Smashing Pumpkins not long after, they were fuking terrible. Seen a lot of shows since then but the ones that were real standouts were probably White Zombie, Tool and Chevelle. I got kicked out of a Reverend Horton Heat show in Houston for "inciting a riot".

H-hi, what's going on in this thread?
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

I can't even think of what my first concert was. Maybe George Strait. Could have been Metallica too. Not sure which came first.
Saw Sir Elton John last January in Vegas and he's coming to my area next January that we're going to try to get tickets to.

This is going to date me, but I just ran across a picture of my first gym. My boss and I had this gym in a loft area of an auto parts store back in 1988.
I didn't think I was going to make it back then, nearly 30 years ago!

My first concert wasn't until I was 19 after I joined the military. My dad wouldn't let me go to any in HS because he was afraid I'd drink and smoke the marijuanas. First concert was Ozzfest 2002 in the UK. Original Black Sabbath lineup. Disturbed, Tool, Papa Roach, Black Label Society, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Union Underground. It was killer.
