Gotsupersick last year in April. Never been that sick before. Had to jack up the heat and wear sweats to bed. Spent all day sleeping and couldn't even eat. Shiit was miserable.

Got the flu shot last week so I feel good.

At what number of deaths do you consider it to not be very rarely life threatening?

I've had the flu shot once since I was 18 and had the flu probably 2 times and it wasn't even bad.

I also never had chicken pox when I was little so at least I know that's whats going to kill me.
Drunk at 3am on a Thursday crew.

Say something nice in my CP get something nice back ;)

Use to drink green tea with some honey or grade A maple daily. That and 100% cocao with just water antioxidants and flavanoids were great just bitter as hell

chaga tea is one of the strongest natural antioxidants known to man, its interesting - its hard to get the good stuff out of it, requires some boiling and crushing, but it actually tastes good too

Just R-E-L-A-X OP

Srs

The media has played this sh!t up 100x worse than it really is.

Yes, the flu sucks. But the few people who died that were in their "prime" died from rare freak occurrences like sepsis developing or their sh!t turning into pneumonia.

Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated and for FFS stay in doors and don't spread that sh!t.

Cheers

If you hear any of them even remotely argue or disagree with each other @ the workplace make that "cat scream" noise.

Funny idea but if I'm made the offer I think it best to humble my self and watch their cat fights with a silent glee. Ha.

All jokes aside I'm not worried about it most females are highly professional on the job. At least at the business's level.

Let hope you don't have to test that considerinf the flu edged oiut the black plague in total deaths on 1918/. This is what truly ended world war 1. It wasent cause of some allied victory.

Germany had won over 1/3 of Russia's airaable land population and it was later lost to them cause of the flu outbreak. They lost the ability to retain their holdings.

All flues are bird flkuew but this was called the army flu too much to type too explain it but wouldn't want to be in Europe in those days

If you gargle warm salt water on the first day or so you have a chance to kill a good portion of the virus which makes the symptoms less severe for the rest of the illness.

Do everyone a favor and go to your local community college and take a semester of introductory microbiology. You'll spend 2 weeks on vaccines alone.

1. Vaccines haven't contained thimerosol (a mercury derivative) in over 10 years, and even if it did it was in trace amounts, and its not even the bad form of mercury (methylated mercury) which you ingest 100X the amount of (compared to a vaccine) when you eat a can of albacore tuna.

2. The virus itself in the vaccine is a mixture of dead and attenuated. Meaning, it cannot replicate and has no virulent factor to make you sick. your white blood cells come along (ingest the dead and attenuated viruses) and create receptor proteins on the outside of their membranes that are chemo-sensitive which means that if a live version of the virus invades the chemicals the virus gives off will attract WBC's to them like a radar.

3. When people say they get "sick" shortly after getting vaccinated, its not the flu from the strain of vaccine they received. Its the white blood cells eliciting an exaggerated immune response to the introduction of a foreign body. These are the same people that will experience the same symptoms by simply getting a splinter.
Lold at suggesting some random take microbiology
