Been married about 3 years, been together 9, one kid with another on the way. Still have sex regularly (3-4x a week). Came in to post this. If it significantly fades, there is a reason. All of the successful ones I see, shagging like rabbits is the norm. Less than that and all this talk of "it goes away with marriage" is cope. If you take care of yourself, your partner finds you attractive, and you have similar sexual needs (which you should find out early on in a relationship, not once you get married), then you should be set.

In marriage, you have to work just as hard to keep yourself the way you were. Yeah, that's a giant red flag, and like you said, you should be with someone who you vibe sexually with.

If you want it daily and they are "meh" in general, it's not gonna work. Again, works both ways. If you as a dude are meh and your gf/wife is a daily type, not good.

People will only talk about their success and won't be too enthusiastic to tell you that their wife doesn't put out anymore. It makes them look bad so they'd rather keep that information within the marriage. Same with this thread, you're only going to hear from the guys who are doing well with their wife and still smashing. So it's hard to tell, but i believe most marriages and ltr's atleast slow down with the sex. That is a normal, natural progression.

I can only speak for my marriage, but no we have not really slowed down. Most people just give up on themselves and with putting effort in their relationship after a few years. Men need attention and romance, but not like women. If you want to have a thriving sex life well into your marriage then you have to "work" on it. It's nothing unreasonable, but so many people just do not want to put in any effort. I have a friend who's wife was having a bad day.
