Ain't no such thing as friends between male and female boyo. Through text, see how the humor goes and if she is receptive, I would opt for the drinks. Make sure its in public though. She'll have her guard up more if you suggest your house. As long as you are using it mainly for banter, text is a good way to plant the seed as you have time to think and execute good game. Also delay texts to start getting into her head.

If she agrees to meet, ask her where SHE is taking you. Something like "great, so where are you taking me??". Anything but a yes I will take you out (from her) should be followed up with you accusing her of being cheap lol. Then just keep the banter going; you are traditional and this is the way it should be, how you will beat her up if she doesn't, meet you at the monkey bars, etc. Be silly, none of this boring "what have you been up to" BS.

This may also help to gauge her intentions. Given you are flirting, if she doesn't have romantic interest, she may say something like "we are just meeting as friends right". In which case you are okay with either based on your reply to me. If she only wants friends then without acting desperate, see if she has any single friends (when you meet). Yea I remember him. He’s one of the miscers I actually tried quite hard to help, but Vick stood in the way a lot of the time.
I liked Vick’s advice, and thought he was right on the money about a lot of things, but oddly he seem to enable a lot of Jame’s chitty thinking and I took issue with that.

James believed he was genetic trash and had a hopeless outlook on dating because of it. Vick agreed with his viewpoint entirely.

As it so happens, James went on Tinder and got a gal for a brief period of time.

One thing that aggravates the fuk out of me on these boards is that people don’t differentiate a bad situation from a hopeless situation. I’ll be the first to admit that James hadn’t been dealt a good hand, and suffered because of it, but he wasn’t fukin’ hopeless... the fact he got a girl and banged her is testament to that.

Vick didn't agree he was trash. They just went to school together for years and Vick realized even though James wasn't doing anything wrong at all he still got almost zero attention. Meanwhile Vick was swimming in women. Hell I made a fake Tinder with his pictures (his permission) and I set up like 20 dates in less than a week. I didnt know whether to laugh or shed a tear. In short Vick understand he got a ****ty hand. He never enabled it. He was just honest and wasn't going to tell him everything was going to be ok if he "worked hard" and joined a gender combined softball team.

And Vick was a big proponent of “looks > everything”, and preached it ALL the fukin’ time, and James was hanging off his every word.

Now, funnily enough I kind of agree with Vick, but regardless there’s still more to attracting women than “looks > all”, and I just feel it wasn’t especially helpful to be repeating “looks > all” adnauseam to someone who’s unfortunate looking.

If anyone has personal info on him, this might be the time to break whatever forum rules are there and get the info out. Sounds like it's time sensitive here. I'll make the call tomorrow to social services if people want to try and combine whatever info they have and send it my way.

Wish I could help. It's also hard to know what to make of it, since he's apparently been threatening suicide for a while. If you check his reddit posting history, the original planned date was Oct 2nd 2017. His last posts here were in the Depression mega-thread also expressing suicidal ideation. Although, not that this should undermine the seriousness of his statements -- I think he's intent on completing it this time.

I don't know how time sensitive it is. He says he's going to do it on his bday, not sure when that is.. but I presume it's at least a few months away if he's trying to donate his kidney first.

In case anyone is curious, I don't know him personally. I started browsing reddit's r/antinatalism recently and yesterday just randomly stumbled across a post of his there. Looking up his post history to find out if that's the same "jamesbwbevis" from misc is how I discovered 1) yup it's him and 2) holy chit @ the suicidal themes in nearly half his posts

I know him and Vick are both from upstate NY somewhere, and then he moved out west. We got talking about Boise once (I live not far from Boise) and he said he's been there several times, so he's somewhere in that area. Could have sworn he said he lived in Denver.
